For the long weekend we did some sport climbing in Lake Louise. There is a nice sport climbing area right at the back of the lake, quick and easy access from parking (if you can find any, on this day we had to park way down the road cause of all the tourists). There are lots of bolted routes, see more in Sport Climbs in the Canadian Rockies book.
The next day we did a scramble up Isabelle Peak in Kootenay. Starts with a 7 point something kilometer approach gaining 700 some odd meters in vertical. The final 900 or so meters are done over the next 2 kms. The views were great at the top. We came out on the head end of 11 hours.
Monday was mt biking in canmore at the nordic center, no pics tho..

Packing a picnic is always fun. And getting ready for our trip the beach was no exception, we went down to Hampton Beach State Park in NH and for the trip we packed a picnic!
