I'm packing and arranging things for moving back to the Twin Cities. I have a new place and although I can't technically live in it until February 1 (because of pending travel, that's no problem) I can move my crap in.

Packing the small stuff is the worst and half of what I need to do is go through things and toss, but now isn't the time any more. I'll have to do that as I unpack. Wow.

Watching episodes of Angel, season 5 is helping distract me from the normal degree of stress I would usually be experiencing. Thank God for nerdity!

So the Yakima CargoBox was one of the best purchase / additions to the Jeep. It freed up enough space to let me use the back seat to sleep comfortably in case I needed.

We took a bitchin' canoe trip down the Little Su and into the Nancy Lakes Rec Area. One of the best meals of the summer was had in the backcountry: a huge slab of king salmon over a wood fire, home-made wine, garlic bread, fresh salad, and a bunch of other stuff.

I spent the day packing and doing more packing. I had so much stuff and little room so I ended up filling two duffle bags with clothes. I took a break and went to Lord & Taylor but other than that, I really went through clothes and packed everything I could.

Today, in order to procrastinate, I started to pack up my stuff for the summer. I did not realize how much stuff I had until I started. I don't know where it all came from. It was going to be a long time until I would have all mu stuff packed.
