I made rosemary infused vodka as Christmas gifts this year. I have a big rosemary plant in the front yard, so it was just a matter of getting some good vodka (I chose Fris) and some decorative bottles (I found these at the container store).

Fresh rosemary has a very strong flavor, so I only left it to infuse for about a day. I tested another batch and any longer than that the vodka turns a darker yellow and it tastes a little... twiggy.

Documentation of us slowly and laboriously packing of all our stuff in boxes (minus the gazillion bags of things that have gone to Goodwill or the trash), followed by the professional movers' much more efficient loading of our things out of the condo and into an LA-bound truck! It's now oh-so-empty in here...

I spent the day packing and doing more packing. I had so much stuff and little room so I ended up filling two duffle bags with clothes. I took a break and went to Lord & Taylor but other than that, I really went through clothes and packed everything I could.

It takes a lot of organization to haul this much stuff around.

The "Deck Gun" on the the "HMCS Charlottetown" is a 57mm 70 mk2 gun from Bofors. The gun is capable of firing 2.4kg shells at a rate of 220 rounds a minute to a range of more than 17km(10.2 miles).
