My brother was packing his car to go and I pointed out that there was room in the trunk for Everett if they wanted to take him back to New York for us.
I tend to go a little overboard. In nearly everything. Christopher is away for the week, I called and told him he will be allowed one cup, one plate, one fork, for the next 5 weeks until we move, because I'm packing like the mad-woman I am. He laughed, silly boy.

The Seattle Flickrites have a weekly challenge for a topic, and this week is 'Heat.' Many people will not remember that 'Heat' is a term used for a firearm, often called a 'Heater.' So, 'Packing Heat' means you would be carrying a concealed weapon.
My weapon of choice in this shoot was a Rock Island Armory Match Grade 1911-A1 semi-auto pistol. It carries 8 rounds in the magazine and 'one in the pipe.'

We spent the majority of today making our lists and then packing stuff in the suitcases for our trip on Tuesday. When I saw the list on my computer with my monorail background, I saw the idea for this shot. Note: I do not have my font set at 24, as I am still quite young haha. It was made bigger to make the shot. Notice anything different? ;)

The January 2012 issue of Martha Stewart Living has her new homemaking room, which is located in the 'garage' and includes a packing center. Well, I don't have a garage so here's my packing drawer.

Packing up. Each meal has its own color code, crates, and coolers, and checklist of what goes in them, which makes food prep when we're there a lot easier.
