An Earth-friendly packing material on display in Rafiki's Planet Watch (Conservation Station) in the Animal Kingdom in WDW. You buy the flat craft paper and the patented Geami system (made in Morrisville, NC, near Raleigh) expands the paper into the form you see here. It's one of those "why didn't I think of that" products. I hope they make millions and help save the planet in the process.

David continues to enhance his packing sprites preset better. Just having fun packing just about anything I want which is what my quest has been since I first heard about Jigsaw Image Mosaics. Again, thanks to David (Mr. G'MIC) for continually making his gift better and better. :)
It's a three day weekend,
and to make the most of it tomorrow morning we're taking the girls to their grandparents and then we are heading off into a nearby wilderness for a couple of days backpacking. Getzger and Alek are being left in charge back home, so hopefully the cats will be fed while we're gone. With luck the weather will hold good, though they are starting to predict rain and Monday is going to be fifteen to twenty degrees cooler, so packing clothes for the trip's a bit of a challenge.
Today we bought a rain cover for Ginger's backpack and did the last of the shopping for the trip. We also had to get stuff ready for Lanie, who's away on a sleep-over tonight. As soon as we can pick her up tomorrow morning, we're off.
Today's picture shows all my stuff ready to be put into my backpack. Total weight of pack and contents including food and water around 34-35lbs. Ginger carries half the food, cooking pot, fly sheet for the tent and the tent footprint. Her pack weighed in at 33lbs.

It is a mess so far as we need to box everything as well as make sure we are ready to properly deal with the recovered bits of the gondola when it returns.
All visible signs of fire were out as I approached the fire scene on 51st Street and Beekman Place. Fireman gets a litle help with his mask as the fire was moments from being declared under control.

Checking out of a hotel, I had to fit everything back into my bags and I've purchased a couple of extra things along the way.
Everything on the bed here has to fit into the large green bag. I'd gotten as far as pulling it all out of the wardrobe and drawers and then deciding to stress out for a bit before proceeding.
We (Heather, Bella, my camera, and me) always love shooting with Ally - she is one classy, fun, sharp young lady that happens to be absolutely gorgeous. On a cold night in November she brought some friends (Eagle Rock girls) to shoot with our motley group of photographers. It was a very fun shoot full of silliness and beautiful women. Life is good!
I took these photos in Star, Idaho in November 2018.
