Common Brown Pea (Bossiaea eriocarpa). I think that this species has interesting leaves. Location: Dryandra Woodland in Lol Gray State Forest, near Narrogin in Western Australia.

Remember the times you ate at granny's house? All those lunches and dinners where she thought you needed more to eat. So you ate...until near gutteral-explosion? This is one of my latest works, a tribute to eating at granny's. " Hand crafted, hand lettered: "No matter how full you were, she always fed you more...and so you ate" The blocks at the bottom spin for viewer interaction. Each says a different type of food...peas, pie, turkey, ham, cake, taters, green beans, gravy.

Granny's are great aren't they!?

Common Brown Pea (Bossiaea eriocarpa). There are so many species of wild pea flowers in Australia, but the leaves on this one help with the identification. The plant was growing in a sandy area beside the Brand Highway (Route 1) north of Perth in Western Australia.
