This is another Wild Flower that I would love to know the name of

PEA Graduation 2018

One of the wild varieties of pigeon pea that Dr. Saxena used to develop high yielding varieties of the crop.

The peas that were planted under mini-greenhouses (aka old plastic containers) just prior to the last snowstorm of April aren't any farther ahead than the ones planted two weeks later, but both batches combined are starting to cover up the chain-link fence.

I use old raspberry canes to protect young pea plants from pigeons on the allotment.

It seems that everyone on Flickr is showing off a little pocket instamatic digital to compliment their more expensive DSLR.

 

Not like a posh restaurant where one pays a fortune for five peas on a plate. This camera don't cause cardiac arrest when opening the wallet. But it sure packs a punch for it's small size.

 

Main reason for purchase was as a quick way to document future locations.

Don't think that we'll be running out of peas this year . . .

In German, the word for garbanzo bean or chick pea (Cicer arietinum) is die Kichererbse, literally, "gigglepea."

working notes: I can't find the tutorial I used for the drawstring bag. All I remember is that it uses French seams and is not lined/reversible.
