We've had beautiful peaceful evenings in Northwest Montana lately. Evening temperatures in the 50'sF and mornings in the 30'sF. A few evenings ago my son stepped out of his RV and took this photo. He is finding his art!
This is the first blossom on the Peace rose bush in my backyard. The plant struggled with blight and insects last year, in a prominent spot. I'll try various sprays on it this year.

At some important moments of our lives we start to appreciate the basics. Freedom, the right to work and move, simple food and safe home. And more than anything - we do appreciate peace. We can't live, sleep, take photos without that.
I wish all of us to return to a peaceful world that we have lost. As soon as possible.

I went to Kite Festival last weekend in Washington DC, and I spotted this Peace Kite flying high close to Washington Monument. This morning I found that the Peace sign just turned 50 years old today. View On Black

The name of this little 'Jim Shore' angel actually is "Peace"
This week's Macro Mondays theme is "Silhouette".
With everything going on in the world today---politics, apathy, terrorism--and the tragedy in London last night,
I've been having a difficult time keeping up with things...
I couldn't seem to find something for 'Silhouette', and then I looked up on the shelf where my little Peace angel stood; She volunteered to pose for me :)
Measuring from the wing tips to the top of the dove, she's 3 inches, and 2 inches wide.
The 'light' bokeh came from a garden ornament.
HMM! --- and Peace.....
Another aspect of the Yoko Ono exhibit featuring Peace is Power in multiple languages and this also shows a family from outside of the Museum of Contemporary Art climbing the stairs to come inside.
