Leyland Titan PD2/12 with Northern Counties double-deck, rear entrance coach bodywork.

A very rare coach in its day & not successful. Here it is relatively new and showing its paintwork in the coach style. Note the signal arm indicators & bumpers.

I think photo was taken with a Kodak 120, but I cannot remember where or when.

Preserved PD2 in Merthyr rally September 2015

Formation of rocks on top of Derwent Edge - it all looks calm and not a bad afternoon but at the time this was taken, the wind up across the edge was blowing to gale force strength and had been all day. When we eventually got down to the bottom to the car park at Fairholmes, my face was bright red with wind burn!

This smart rare PD2 was new Fishwick's in 02/1958 and built to the lowbridge design with the off-side sunken gangway on the top-deck. These must've been really awkward to travel on upstairs, whereby the seats are on the left hand side capable of seating four passengers with a bit of a step up to the seats, and if you were hemmed in by the window or even the middle pair with not much headroom to boot! It is seen here at Blackpool Transport's Rigby Road Depot open-day, on 28/06/1998.
