Ebony's current face with lips, blush and eyes, but I am not feeling the lips I may start over. I am getting better, but being the perfectionist I am on crafty things I am having a bit of an issue. Soon soon. Also have to do more eyeshadow.
Almost but not quite - I've made a couple of tweaks to this image hence the 'digital representation' tag. YUP 6 is, of course, Weardale Motor Services superbly restored Leyland PD2 double-decker; or Leyland PS1 if you prefer, since this old-timer began life as ACB-bodied coach KUP 435.
The tweaks mentioned above are the replacement of the WMS fleetname with historically correct SMS (Stanhope Motor Services) lettering; and the addition of a front bumper - originally carried to satisfy legal requirements regarding overall dimensions. YUP 6 was always a Stanhope Motor Services vehicle (with SMS lettering on the standard WMS livery) until that company was wound-up.
It has lead something of a charmed life, spared from conversion to a tow truck in the early 1980s, superficially restored in 1988 and subsequently left to decay. Salvation came with a tow to Gardiners of Spennymoor in 2006 for a long and very thorough restoration. The end result is absolutely fantastic - a credit to Gardiners, Weardale and everybody involved in its restoration. This view was taken during a specially posed session at the 2011 Gateshead Metro Centre Rally. Thanks to Chris Adams, WMS Operations Manager, for arranging it (22-May-11).

XMD 47A Leyland Titan PD2/12 / Metro Cammell The Amberley Collection on loan from The Big Bus Company.
This has been identified elsewhere as formerly carrying reg number KCH106 making it Leyland PD2/12 562711 with MCCW H32/26RD body new in 1957 and ex Trent 1006.
According to fellow FlickR member iainwilson1 this 1957 59 seater Leyland Titan started out with Trent Motor's, Whippet Bus of St Ives, and Purfleet (?) , Essex, who sold it to Grey Green of 55 Stamford Hill, N16. Chassis no 562711. Then of course Big Bus of Tooting.

This rare 1950 Leyland PD2 No. 2222 (JOJ222) is the only survivor of a batch of 50 Leyland Titan buses with bodies by the London coachbuilder Park Royal.
Supplied to Birmingham in 1949-50, they were always associated with Rosebery Street garage and were unusual in having few of the detailed design features associated with Birmingham City Transport.
2222 was one of a few that ended their working lives at Quinton garage. It was withdrawn in 1969 and sent for scrap, but was rescued for preservation. However, it was 47 years before it again took to the road.
MIlehouse Depot in September 1973 played host to several withdrawn Leyland PD2's. Nearest the camera is 90 (NDR 90) with Metro Cammell bodywork.
Stagecoach South West Leyland PD2, LRV992, is seen at Livermead, in Torquay, working the 200 service from Paignton to Torquay. 15th August 2015

Purchased at a rally in the early 70's, this is Manchester 3348 (NNB 188) a Leyland bodied Leyland PD2 working route 219 to Ashton

Leyland PD2/Massey new to Exeter City in 1963, passing to Devon General in 1970. Withdrawn in 1980 and purchased by Exeter City Council in 1995 to promote green initiatives.
KDT562 was one of two Leyland PD2/1s with Leyland H30/26R bodies delivered new to Doncaster Corporation in September 1951. It became 123 in the DCT fleet. In early 1964 the body was removed and the chassis was fully overhauled before being fitted with a relatively new trolleybus body. (Ray Atkins photo)

New to London Transport during June-1949 with a Park Royal H56R body . The Park Royal “Roofbox” body as in this photograph was fitted at an Aldenham overhaul during February-1964 .
KGK911 is in traffic with an interesting selection of cars of cars and vans . Plus it is passing a branch of “Tru-Form shoe shops . Whom I believe have ceased to trade
KGK911 is heading for its in town terminus of Route 25 , at Victoria Railway Station , at Aldgate .

A day at Blackpool started with a visit to the depot. Please note that some shots from this day have already been posted on my site - these are the remainder.
1951 built Leyland PD2/5- Burlingham No. 298 sits outside the depot on 26/6/72. It was converted for PW use in 1969 and was used until 1975 - it is now preserved.
OWR265 was a Leyland PD2/20 with a Bond Brothers body. It was one of two with Bond L27/26RD bodies new in 1955 to South Yorkshire Motors, Pontefract.
Edinburgh No. 798, a 1957 built Leyland PD2/20 /MCW crosses East Linton bridge on the Dunbar Run, 28/8/83.
KLB915 one of a batch of 500 wide bodied RT's designated RTW new in October 1949 as RTW185.
Amberley Museum Bus Rally, 11th September 2011
September 1973. The improbable terminus of a service from Halifax. Magnificent view over Calderdale.
The unusual lines of the fully-fronted Burlingham bodied Leyland PD2/5's show well as the two retained for Permanent Way service, Nos.298 & 296 are seen at the depot on 26/6/72. They date from 1951 and 1949.
Leyland Titan 7RT ( PD2 ) - Met-Camm H56R
New to London Transport during September-1950 . Fitted with a Met-Camm body . The body carried in this shot was fitted during an Aldenham overhaul in April-1963 .
Gillingham Street , Victoria garage ( GM ) London allocated LLU901 is in Egham , Surrey heading for Windsor on Greenline Coach Route718 .
Gilliam Street garage had No scheduled duties on Route718 . So I guess this is either a replacement for a very “Late Running” scheduled coach . Or a Relief duty put into service at Eccleston Bridge , Victoria , London
LLU901 was only allocated to Gillingham Street garage between April-1963 after its overhaul until October-1964 .

Manchester No.3520 is a 1958 Leyland PD2/34 - Burlingham -- on the LT Jubilee run at Parliament Sq. 3/7/83.
SRH633 was a Leyland Titan PD2 with a L28/28R Roe body. It was the second of a pair of vehicles new in July 1955 to East Yorkshire Motor Services, they were the last low bridge type to be purchased. It entered the service fleet in November 1971 and sold out of service in 1975 for eventual preservation.

Leyland Titan PD2 Reg FFY 403 leaving Mardens in Benfleet in its smart new livery for the long journey to its new home in Torquay.
It is now owned and operated by Riviera Sightseeing Tours of Torquay.
Two drivers are sharing the drive back and probably won't arrive in Torquay until Saturday afternoon/evening. I believe they are hoping to reach Bristol tonight for an overnight stop.
