That neon is beautiful at night. This exterior was painted blue for a couple of years until they decided to simply paint it yellow in early 2011.

Sunrise, ten thousand meters above the Australian outback, somewhere between Darwin and Sydney (closer to Sydney, above New South Wales, I believe).

I traveled down this isolated road.
Until I came along this nest.
An industrious, damned, and isolated nest.
I was taken in as ill.
Care told me I was seriously ill.
I heard each voice within the Formica.
Each manic statement constructed through hard work and stealth.
Take pride in your productivity.
This became my apparition.
As I progressively became not of service.

A riot control favorite and oddity, the Outback was efficient in doing its job during the Sixth and Seventh Homeland Conflicts: Shredding the protesters and looking damn sexy while doing it.
The top-loading shotgun holds few shells at once. Shells are loaded in the top; spent shells are ejected out the top.
The hardy vegetation of the arid land in the Gluepot Reserve has an appealing character all its own.
The reserve is a privately owned conservation area, with an annual rainfall of only 200-250mm. It is primarily Mallee woodlands where multi-stemmed eucalypts share the space with drought-tolerant bushy plants.
Some good old O-Ring fun. I gotta say, the classic figures are too much fun to mess around with, even to this day.
All these clouds are going to make either a really good, or really bad, sunset.

There can be as many as 1000 bush flies around you at times. Fly nets were our savour. Outback Australia is a combination of stark beauty and remote wonder - not forgetting hot, uncomfortable and even a little dangerous at times. If you love nature in all its forms ....well i think its a must visit experience. This shot was taken not far of the road from Windorah to Birdsville in mid Autumn.
