I like that one little thing was misplaced. Standing out and in a different direction. Still connected but doing its own thing. Something I can relate to.
Sorry to find out that Pearl Paint (on Canal St. NY) closed its doors earlier this year ... I remember visiting this location a few times, it was always fun and inspiring.
tried to do a video with these lot and this is the out takes ? never did give the video done in the end got up to take 31 so I gave up

Following complaints about my uploads being out of sync with the seasons, here are a few shots from a walk I did 2 years ago on my annual soaking to the North Yorkshire Moors. No doubt he with moan that I've filled the internet by uploading more than 2 shots a month like he does.
We stayed in a pub for 2 nights and it was so good we booked it again for the same time in 2020. Then along came something beginning with C.
Today we finally get to return, as soon as this lot uploads I'm heading out the door into the rain... Some things never change.
While driving out in the country of Milton area I came across these beauties grazing in the field. Horses are my favorite animal.....their strength, beauty, and grace will always warm my heart.

Haha :D I'm in a very weird mood of laughing right now. Plus, It's 1:30am here and I have to get up at 4:30am for my Social Studies exam tomorrow (..meaning.. Today!!).. so yeah, I'm definately out of my mind right now xD
Oh, and I joined this group today: Get Pushed! It sounds like fun!! :D Definitely waiting for it to start!!

How I look when I have just made my way to the kitchen and realized I am out of coffee. It's pretty scary I know but it took lots of posing and processing to make me look this grumpy.
I just downloaded a new photo app on my phone and have been playing with it and making wildly ridiculous faces while experimenting with the selfie portion of the app. I took this one with a scowl on my kisser with the phone held high shooting at an angle downwards and fairly close to get that angular look. I took many shots and deleted most but I saw some possibilities with this shot and downloaded it to my PC for some further editing. I thought it would be perfect for the Slider Sunday group after all the processing I did. Happy Slider Sunday.

WEEK 10 – S Perkins Kroger Revisited, Part II
Had to get really close to the produce coolers on the side wall to get this shot: the angled sign placement probably helps to advertise “farm fresh produce” to customers who might otherwise overlook this nook-like area, but keeps the department icon in the dark, metaphorically speaking. Realistically speaking, it's too much in the light: the sun from those windows has made these stickers peel the worst out of all of the ones in the store! Here's a shot of the other side of this wall from my blog post.

Exploding chokecherries at Golden Ponds Park and Recreation area. I found these along the river path in early May. I grabbed one of my shots to edit. so that I could add to the story. This early day in May was already too warm and had the foliage in full bloom. This limb is certainly showy with chokecherry blossoms. They jump from the leafy background. I admit that chokecherry jelly is far and away the best but unfortunately, being CHOKEcherries, requires a load of sugar to cook. I try my best to reject carbs and sugar.
This is a newbie edit that I just shot during that season. I returned half way through July and the berries were already black. In my experience, that is nearly a month too early. That actuality explains everything about this summer here in the valley and what's in store for global warming. One unseen eventuality of the global warming will of course be sea levels rising over Mar a Lago whether Trump, Pruett and the entire fossil fuel industry believe in it or not. Here it is the summer of swelter and the prospect of burning fossils to air condition the dwindling future.

A couple quick snaps from a short stop in Oakland on way up the coast, shooting VFX plates for Chuck Hank & The San Diego Twins. I do dig this city.
I found a trove of photos that my father took in college in 1974 (and other years as well, but there are HUNDREDS of black and white negatives... I can't wait to scan them all). A lot of them are really quite beautiful, and I hadn't realized how talented he was. Plus, they're old, and things that probably seemed rather mundane at the time have a totally different kind of beauty now.
This is one of the few that was printed.
