This was just some randomness.
I love my new camera and I am very, very happy. And my mind is very distracted by my new camera and by waiting some guest to arrive. I should be concentrating on my upcoming exams (next week), but it seems very impossible.
There's a working farm at Häringe Slott. The surroundings are part of the Hammersta Häringe nature reserve, so it is always open for the public. There were a few people out and about during my visit yesterday.

A UP transfer takes the CSX interchange out of New Orleans, and is starting up the grade on the Huey P Long bridge on March 7, 2018.

The Lloyd's building (known as the Inside-Out Building) is the home of the insurance institution Lloyd's of London. It is located on the former site of East India House in Lime Street, in London's main financial district, the City of London. The building is a leading example of radical Bowellism architecture in which the services for the building, such as ducts and lifts, are located on the exterior to maximise space in the interior. Twenty-five years after completion in 1986, the building received Grade I listing in 2011; it was the youngest structure ever to obtain this status.

Sometimes, you need a break, go to a place you love, to get away from everything. Here are some school girls enjoying themselves on a school picnic. They were celebrating their trip, celebrating their friendship. I took this picture few days ago, at Victoria Memorial Ground in Kolkata. Their school uniform looks so beautiful, one girl wearing a red dress are the break here and the famous Victoria Memorial Hall stands tall in the background.

It was so nice to visit Lila again. She's always so sweet, and it was fun going out to meet up with her group of friends.
The Aurora in Iceland last night. The tail-lights from my truck added some red color to the house... and made it even more out of space :)

STATEMENT OF INTENT:
UNIVERSITY BOAT RACE 2018
The annual Cambridge/Oxford University Boat Race is an iconic London rowing event. It’s a significant focus for SW London with the start line beneath Putney Bridge. The race attracts thousands of spectators to line the River Thames.
I set out to candidly capture the atmosphere of the day, interacting with the crews, ardent supporters and those just enjoying a jolly good day out.

This little Downy Woodpecker was having a feast on a flower stalk of Common Mullein at the community gardens. I'm still always happily surprised when wild things let me get close enough to use the 50mm or 105mm to shoot. With so many people around the gardens every day, I think the birds here have developed some level of comfort with humans sharing their gardens. :)
