DAIR 3021 throttles up to 40 MPH as it is now on trackage rights on the BNSF Canton Subdivision in Sioux Falls, SD
Well, it feels like I'm starting to run out of shots to post... Reaching back in my shots during a trip to the coast in April for this one. A 44 sec exposure during sunrise. The exposure wasn't perfect, blowing out some highlights, but did my best to make something out of it. These rocks are the coquina outcrop at Ft. Fisher near Kure Beach, south of Wilmington, NC.

A black Gap sweater with stretch skirt and the only shoes I had on this trip. No tights as it was hot out. I have millions of freckles on my legs! I did go out and walk around the block and through the lobby of my hotel in this outfit around 11pm. Do I pass?
An MTA employee looks out as the 2 train is leaving the Wall Street subway station in New York City on January 14, 2010.
This photo is part of a series of portraits of MTA conductors on the New York City subway. Together they capture the special New York moment just before the conductor lets the train leave the station. For other photos in the series, visit this set. For more general subway shots, check my subway set.

TEETH FALLING OUT DREAM
Perhaps you are passing to a stage of greater maturity (and are reminded of when you lost your "baby teeth" as a child.) Maybe you are feeling old and decrepit or unattractive, thinking of the possibility of someday losing your teeth. Or perhaps you are subconsciously aware of serious dental problems that could lead to loss of your teeth. Are you overdue for a check up? Maybe you simply feel guilty about your poor dental hygiene. Have you said something(s) that you now regret? If so, maybe it feels as though you had a "loose tongue" and the words just "fell out" of your mouth. Maybe you grind your teeth at night (this phenomenon, called BRUXISM, is quite common) which leads to a strong dream awareness of dental discomfort, which triggers teeth-problems dreams. Perhaps you feel a lack of strength and assertiveness/aggression (there are "no teeth" to your personality). Or perhaps you recently saw, heard, or read something about loose teeth, which made a powerful enough impression to spark a dream.

all those people are praying out Masjid because it's not enough..
An out take from the previous shoot I decided to upload. With this photo, I liked how the imprints of my hands were much more prominent. And just because I liked the tones in this edit too, and just because I felt like uploading something..
Any preference?

I just can't get enough of this view, I zoom out when I see that the sun is lighting up some houses selectively , making them stand out against the morning sky.
Also some on the rockface closer to me, but still hiding the coloured beach-huts in a secret salty haze.
Thanks for viewing, M, (*_*)

IC Swallow liveried 43102 had been due to lead the second southbound working of the day from Nottingham, however the aforementioned signalling problems at Sheffield meant this set reversed and was diverted via Barrow Hill. Coupled with the booked reversal at Nottingham this meant 43102 actually ended up on the rear to London, not particularly ideal. Ex-LNER East Midlands Railway livered 43295 is seen racing passed Cossington with 1B23 06:34 Leeds to London St Pancras service on 12th April 2021.
Literally. This surfer is dropping out of my camera range and out of the wave. I guess I was focused on the breaking wave and zooming in so I only got part of the picture - but I like it!
So, it's Monday, my focus is a little too narrow, my thoughts are hazy, and I'm feeling a bit fenced in...or out. I thought about naming this Thorns and making it part of the urban flower series but just wasn't feeling it. It might still find a place in there but I think I can come up with a better example. And this one really does just have a different emotion. Very little post processing on these, it was just kind of a blue, hazy day. Something about the cool tones that just kind of adds a feel to the steel "devil's rope".
