Always see some dragonflies or bees lingering around the waterlilies or lotuses, but surprisingly this time a butterfly seems to be checking this beautiful pink waterlily out.

When it's really hot out, this is my go-to drink. Reminds me of summers of my youth spent at Lake Chabot, not to far from the house where I grew up. During the warm northern Californian summers, I'd come back from fishing, walks, or bike rides around the lake and get a Icee from the marina boat house before heading back home. Good times.

I started out my second and final morning in Altoona on the 8th Street bridge. It being early in the morning, I was obviously waiting for an eastbound I could race up to McFarlane's Curve, but 35A was first, pushing out westbound while I waited for one going east.
It took two hours, but things finally started happening. The only problem was that it was too far away for my puny 400MM. Just for fun, I thought that I would post them anyway. Most interesting is the eagle carrying large chunks of turf. Apparently the nest is nearing completion and all that they need is the mattress.

Finally have the suspect in custody. He confessed after playing the tape where his helpers ratted him out. I was trying to hold out and keep the secret but i blasted him with the tape and he song like a canary. Case solved. Now im out on this sail boat in the middle of Italy vacationing. Much needed "me time." I wanted to look chic and cool. Comfortable yet not overly dress. The weather is superb, the ocean scents just takes me to a whole new place of comfort. Im sooo relaxed right now. My tour guide decided to take me to a remote place where you see all kinds of ocean life and i am captivated. Thanks to The Slay Room, I manage to piece off my ensemble with these lovely Vienna Bracelets by Petroff.
