In the wildlower corner of my garden all the meadow cranesbills of which there are many are blue except this one. Only this one is white and it coes up every year without feel!
I am interested in experimenting (or getting addicted maybe) to this out of focus photography. It is obviously a bit difficult to not go into the abstract, as I have done here I think. However it is a start and it is also something which appeals to the shaky hands as we get older haha :-). This is actually the corner of our patio, I think the light coming through the boards plays an important part so here we are: photo number 1.
Dakota, Minnesota And Eastern 6070 leads a westbound manifest train right down the middle of the road. The little old fashioned sleepy town of Belleview Iowa.
The mercury crossed over 100F out side.. and i was pretty much cool down by the way of settling in the INDOOR with chilled subjects...
ALL PHOTOS IN THIS strobes SERIES are straight from the camera. NO EDIT, except the crop
CANON 5D MARK II WITH LEICA 85MM LENS . manual mode.
Today on my off day I was out railfanning the NS Chicago Line, CSX Grand Rapids sub, CSX Garrett sub and CN's South Bend sub. Didn't catch anything on the CN but I did get 2 trains on the CSX Garrett sub, 3 on the NS Chicago line and 1 on the CSX Grand Rapids sub.
Seen here is me posing with my old Pentax K-1000 35mm camera. I haven't got it to work yet but am still tinkering with it. Self-portrait of me looking east down the NS Chicago line at Porter, Indiana (CP 482) at the 15th street crossing.

This wasn't the location I had planned for this idea, but thought I'd better post something before I fall further behind
It took Moriarty two years to notice the fish tank, but now that he has.... beware the silver paw of doom.
The irony is, he doesn't really like fish much :-D
The petrol station is out of order, the Honda is out of order too - somebody abandoned her in this odd spot.

It was great to see this image as I reviewed my old D90 shots. It was critical in expanding the limits of my processing. In attempting to approximate a Jackson Pollock painting, I combined several of the Elements' art filters so altering an image in a novel way for me. Here, I immediately went for a new take by lifting the shadows considerably. This is basically all I did in the color version. Then, I went black and white instead of going for drip type colors. I used Silver Efex for this conversion. Then, I went for the Elements art filters again but, this time not attempting to duplicate anyone in particular. I used Paint Daubes again but with a couple of new ones just creating some small, blurred color streaks. The Grain filter has a slider for noise intensity and this noise is of the color variety. I used On1 Photo Raw for the original raw conversion.

She was a beauty--a gold 45 goddess for sure! A Gold 45 Goddess exalts the archetypal form of Athena--the Greek Goddess of wisdom, warfare, strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. A Gold 45 Goddess guards the beauty of dx4/dt=ic and embodies 45SURF's motto "Virtus, Honoris, et Actio Pro Veritas, Amor, et Bellus, (Strength, Honor, and Action for Truth, Love, and Beauty," and she stands ready to inspire and guide you along your epic, heroic journey into art and mythology. It is Athena who descends to call Telemachus to Adventure in the first book of Homer's Odyssey--to man up, find news of his true father Odysseus, and rid his home of the false suitors, and too, it is Athena who descends in the first book of Homer's Iliad, to calm the Rage of Achilles who is about to draw his sword so as to slay his commander who just seized Achilles' prize, thusly robbing Achilles of his Honor--the higher prize Achilles fought for. And now Athena descends once again, assuming the form of a Gold 45 Goddess, to inspire you along your epic journey of heroic endeavour.

WEEK 31 – Stateline Kroger (II)
Stepping out from said aisle, we now find ourselves in the… what can I call this? “Grand Aisle-lite?” Because the deli and bakery service counters at this store are separated from the produce department, the grand aisle over on the right side of the store isn’t really all that grand in terms of departments offered (one vs. three), but it still manages to retain the wide-open feeling traditionally associated with such a setup. Meanwhile, the bakery and deli here in the front left corner have their own open display area out in front of the service counters, but it doesn’t feel quite as fair to call this a grand aisle due to its shape and location away from the entrance. Such a conundrum XD
Whatever you call it (!), this area is notable for its traditional greenhouse Kroger setup remaining intact, as well as that accompanying floor pattern – I lied, apparently the one three photos back was not, in fact, the final one I’d be featuring today :P This one is rather similar to the one we saw yesterday, in fact, near the meat department with the orange outline and gray interior – except on this one the outline appears brownish-red instead, and isn’t as wide, but the gray filling in the center is still there.

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
We drop down low after tossing a grenade into a bunker. Don't worry, it was empty.
This was the 3rd grenade tossed and no matter what I tried, I wasn't getting the right shot. So finally I got up close and personal... eureka.
The hardest part about shooting with Anastasia is trying to decide my favorite photos to post. She is absolutely gorgeous with a great personality. 2021 pretty much sucked in general; the best thing about it was I had a chance to shoot with Anastasia about 5 times. We did this shoot at the Scentsy campus in October 2021. Excellent shoot with one of my favorite models!!
