This image is of a stone in charred grass was part of a burned area in the Wichita Mountains wildlife refuge.

美しい脚の形になるために, 美脚な太ももの作り方：太ももは撮影しやすい場所である。理由は、その部分だけを見ても、一応の作品になるからである。しかしながら、美脚の本質は、脚全体のラインにあるから、太ももだけの作品は、ある意味、ごまかしともいえるだろう。
This 19th century alley retaining wall was reinforced with internal anchors, to prevent it bowing out over time.

Lights dispersed by the fog afford a bright, white background for passers by.
Technical trivia
Making the best of a bad situation with a small-sensor compact camera (F 2.0, 1/6 sec, 1600 ISO). There is blurring due to speed, much noise due to high ISO, and very narrow dynamic range due to dim lighting. The original could not have much color info so B&W was envisioned. Contrast was enhanced by partial palette replacement (Topaz Restyle, Black with pop of gray preset chosen to enhance foggy aura around lights, 20% normal blending mode.) The image still appeared rough so grain was addressed (Google's FREE Nik collection SilverEFX pro, fine art preset) then noise in the dark areas was reduced (Noiseware pro, default preset).
I took an obsolete JPG shooter out in the rain. The lens is slow, the dynamic range is narrow, but I still found some scenes I liked. this one required processing (Lightroom, Topaz Restyle, Nik Collection Analog EFX) to come close to what I imagined. The lack of RAW really hurts here, as the heavy downpour concentrates image detail in the midtones, leading to the over-processed look as these are expanded.
Subtractive filter Harris shutter effect (subtractive filter HSE, SFHSE) constructed from three sequential images. Imperfect registration leaves a faint outline of background details.
Details
This modified Harris Shutter Effect image generates colored "ghosts" on a black background. Things that move and other differences between three more-or-less sequential photos are emphasized while static features turn black.

Chasing splashes with a low perspective on a rainy day.
Crispy processing note:
The RAW was contrast enhanced by a Daidoish curve adjustment, to crush black and blow highlights, microcontrast and fine contrast increased to about +30, exposure increased to about +0.80.

カラーを白黒画像にすることは、つまりは、脚を、いっそう、外側のラインとして見ること。何かしら意味を持たせて表現したかのように見せることである。白黒画像は、脚線にシビアとなる。
カラー画像は、外形の線よりは、むしろ面を強調するから、脚線美そのものを表現するには、情報過剰である。カラーは、私たちにとって、毎日の体験でもあり、だから自然であって、そのために、美脚度が、加点されるわけだ。
どちらも、一長一短である。フロイトは絵画よりも彫塑を好んだ。その理由を想像してみるといい。
These photos are of a day we took a group of autistic children out to the Mohave desert for balloon rides. What an incredible day we had. It was perfect and the children were ecstatic as you could imagine. It was great fun. The personal rewards from this kind of activity are immeasurable.

Shot with a Hoya R72 infrared filter (720nm cutoff), converted to B&W in DXO Optics, then Topaz Restyle modified the tonal range with the "black and cornsilk gray" preset.

Technical Trivia
Topaz Restyle blended the native color palette with the "muted chestnut" preset.
A mysterious high school senior tradition involving toy Nerf guns and ammo occurred during my walk. Apart from the pretend combat it was a good sign that no adults (or ICE) with real guns came around.
Processing notes:
Manual zoom blur, a feature unique to the X-S1 compared to other fixed lens cameras, followed by simulated bleach bypass combining color image (Analog Efex, classic camera 3 preset) with BW (Silvermax based Daidoish preset).
