Pedestrians crossing the street in Dinkytown were viewed via a subtractive filter Harris shutter effect (subtractive filter HSE, SFHSE), constructed from three sequential images (EXR JPG).
Pop-Artified:
Background enhanced and desaturated, to give sense of place (and meaning to texture in figures) without de-emphasizing figures.
Details
A modified Harris Shutter Effect image generates colored "ghosts" on a black background. Things that move and other differences between three more-or-less sequential photos are emphasized while static features turn black. Weak colors and soft blacks made more intense by modifying brightness in HSV space. Seemingly coincident cars are actually different vehicles on the rapidly traveling train.

脚を太くするために、いろいろと、運動している。主として、大腿部や膝下の訓練だが、その効果が出てきたような、そうでないような。私の場合、身体の細さは、生まれつきで、全然変化がないので、せめて、脚くらいは、もう少し太くして、脚線を曲線美に近づけたいのだ。

Utata's summer project 2016 invites us to go... something.
The "go nuts" category is for anything. I used colored mirrors in a mosaic to view the mid-week farmer's market, using an old JPG shooter, and limited myself to basic enhancements (tilt, keystoning, curves) in Olympus Viewer 3.
Processing notes:
Contrast enhanced with a "Daidoish" preset (exposure, contrast, and clear-view increased; blacks increased and whites decreased in curves to clip blacks and highlights)

These tiny orange spheres reminded me of scoops of orange colored ice cream, so I added a leafy garnish for presentation.
Details:
Lycogala epidendrum, (wolf's milk or Groening's slime) forms small clusters of textured orange spheres that ooze orange slime when punctured.
Automatic white balance
A focus stacked version was also prepared, showing the tiny gray cup fungi in greater detail. Contrast and color enhancement with Topaz Restyle (reef at night preset, 40% normal blending mode).

Background
A stationary camera shows a static background with a subject changing position in successive exposures. Muybridge's motion studies, in contrast, simulate a moving camera and show an effectively stationary subject against a moving background. These may be displayed as a polyptych or combined into multiple exposures on a single frame. A cross-processed look (DFT Filmstocks, Xpro Fuji Sensia) selectively enhanced color and contrast.
