Um die Schwefelköpfe noch mehr im Bild nach vorn zu holen, hier eine Offenblendversion. Stack von 31 Einzelaufnahmen (Lumix GX8, 25mm/1,4 Leica).
Yes, it’s a red Matchbox London bus. Son, you’re going to have to let nature take its course. Don’t do it again!
Its been some days since I sit back and relax and put some new question into my already overloaded mind...
Are we living in Paradise, and we don't even know it. Are the ripe, juicy fruits of joy and fulfillment are ours for the picking, while we continue to dig for sour berries?
Are we walking down streets littered with sparkling diamonds, and not even bothering to look at them, much less pick them up? Do we pass by golden opportunities everyday, during the few moments we spend outside the secure, comfortable prison cell that we have built for our life? Are the boundaries which separate us from the true fulfillment, of our own making?
In each moment there are gems, waiting to be mined. In each friendship there is a joy, waiting to be felt. In each problem there is wealth, waiting to be created. Open your eyes. Open your heart. Look around , really look, and see the beautiful would where we could be living, if only we would.

Open Mouth Owlet-Not sure what this owlet was trying to do, maybe expel an owl pellet but he sat on the edge of the nest and was opening and closing his mouth multiple times like this. (5 pics and video)
This juvenile Bald Eagle was totally exposed as he was surveying the lake for a meal. Having one in this position you can get a really good feel for the size of the wing span. You also get a great view of the colors and markings of this beautiful raptor.
The newly-completed bike path on the side of the Westgate Freeway makes for a fantastic view over Stony Creek as A2 986 opens up to climb the short 1-in-100 gradient up to Spotswood Station hauling train 8297 and Steamrail's down Rail & Sail to Geelong. 27/4/25
M36 (right) and M38 (left) are two prominent open clusters located in the constellation Auriga. Open clusters are a group of starts which formed from the same cloud of gas and dust, but are not gravitationally bound - they will eventually wonder apart. Our sun formed in an open cluster; however, over the 4.7 billion since it's formation, our sibling stars have drifted apart . A similar fate awaits the open clusters above... its just a matter of time.
These two open clusters are also know as the Pinwheel (M36) and Starfish (M38) - both are more that 4k light years away. An additional open cluster, NGC 1907, is visible above M38 (@ 1'clock).
These are excellent targets for small telescopes and binoculars.

Cold and blustery - < 1/2 of the subs were usable - vibrations from gusty winds (20-25mph)... even those kept were not great.

Open clusters of stars can be near or far, young or old, and diffuse or compact. Found near the plane of our Milky Way galaxy, they contain from 100 to 10,000 stars, all of which formed at nearly the same time. Bright blue stars frequently distinguish younger open clusters. M35, (Bottom ) is relatively nearby at 2800 light years distant, relatively young at 150 million years old, and relatively diffuse, with about 2500 stars spread out over a volume 30 light years across. An older and more compact open cluster, NGC 2158 ( Top right ) NGC 2158 is four times more distant than M35, over 10 times older, and much more compact with many more stars in roughly the same volume of space. NGC 2158's bright blue stars have self-destructed, leaving cluster light to be dominated by older and yellower stars. Both clusters are seen toward the constellation of Gemini.
