All of the men that earned livings to feed their families here in the Pennsylvania Railroad's shops in Crestline, Ohio have all clocked out and gone home. In fact, they've probably moved on from this world. Built during WWI, and closed with the Penn Central merger of 1968, what's left of PRR's sprawling Crestline Terminal facility stands as a testament of a different era in railroading. If you look through the open doors, you will see a portion of the roundhouse in the distance, just past where the turntable was. PRR's PFtW&C mainline here is now the Chicago, Fort Wayne, & Eastern RR, west of Crestline, and Norfolk Southern Rwy. east of town.

This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Sonnar 1:4 f=150mm lens and B+W 67E KR15 2.3⨯ filter using Bergger Pancro 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
My newest tattoo, my 7th and one i've had in mind for a long time.
I collect keys, i think they're fascinating. They hold in them a secret, a purpose. One key can open several doors or it can open just one.
The teeth on this key represent the mountain range from my hometown, so that I know wherever I am, home is just a door away.
Geyserville is a charming small historic town in the north part of Sonoma County in California.
I haven't explore it very much, but I went there last weekend following my wife's suggestion. She had a great idea!
I enjoyed my walk and got a lot of interesting photos. During the walk, I kept running into the woman in light gray clothing and the boy with the dog, and he kept staring at the weird dude with the camera. Well I finally decided to capture him on tape. =)

Rocks State Park is a public recreation area located in and around Deer Creek Valley near Pylesville, Harford County, Maryland. The state park's 1,060 acres (430 ha) preserve the geologic formation known as the King and Queen's Seat and other features in three non-contiguous areas near the junction of Maryland Route 24 and Maryland Route 165. It is managed by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

Standing abount 9" tall, the Eastern Screech Owl (Megascops asio) never had to deal with Zack Morris, but one can imagine that he would have held his own. Eastern screech owls can be found just about everywhere in the U.S. east of the Rocky Mountains, a line which seems to separate them from their Western Screech Owl cousins. Aside from some small visual differences, eastern and western screeches have distinct calls, and eastern screeches have a wide range of vocalizations... ranging from the telltale screeches to grunts, chirps, and the haunting trills that often accompany spooky movie soundtracks.
Often suburbanites--suburban birds will often outlive counterparts that reside in 'the wilds'--screech owls will readily nest in owl houses. This particular red morph nested within this box in Maumee Bay State Park. I have, myself, purchased an owl box that I'll be putting up this fall. After that, I'll be crossing my talons...er, fingers!
