I was really amazed at the sharpness of the image. Newton rings are haunting all my polaroids anyway.

This camera works a lot better than the other one did.
This is a camera that expects SX-70 film, modified to use Polaroid 600 film. The best part is that the modification is completely reversible.
This particular pack of film expired in 2006, so my results may vary!

Beth Ann decided to tackle the overabundance of shoes in the house that was partially created by cleaning out the garage. So rounded up all of her shoes in milk crates and they occupied the bedroom.

A frequently revisited composition for me, this time trying out a Polaroid OneStep and Impossible Project PX 100 film.

trying out the starburst filter on this camera. maybe it didn't work out so well because the focus is way off?
This is the first time I've shot with Color Shade film. Since my only experience with polaroid was at Oasis with the new color protection film, I confess that I had no idea I was supposed to be covering the shot as soon as it came out of the camera...Ooops! Oh well. Still love this one of mom. She's great for understanding artistic vision and will readily be posed and look into too bright sun when I ask :)

First time out with this camera. I left the exposure dial right in the middle to get a feel for it. Obviously way overexposed, but, now I know!

i was making chalkboards today when a bee fell out of a tree and landed on the boards i was painting. i think she was dying so i decided to immortalize her as i always do with insects i find. i picked her up with some plyers because i'm deathly allergic to bee stings! (not really) here is a diptych comparing color shade vs silver shade.
**for the sake of aesthetics i messed with the curves. originals can be seen in my photostream.

The Polaroid OneStep 600 has a simple fixed focus 1-element plastic lens and lacked the close-up adaptor. The only user-control is the exposure compensation slider used to make pictures lighter or darker. These models can be partially folded to protect the lens.

Polaroid OneStep Land Camera. Purchased at Salvation Army on Montrose around 2002. Takes SX70 film, but can be tricked into using 600 (like that is much help anymore).

I'm proud of my small collection of cameras. I get them from thrift stores or grandparents generally. The fisheye I bought from UO.
Polaroid OneStep BC Series // expired 600
No ND filter used. I had been using a OneStep inherited from my uncle as a car show prop, and earlier had purchased a pack of film for Dixie Square that never got shot. So I burned it here.

If you walk through the Rocks and walk deeper in the residential area, you will be able to bump into this awesome place on the hill. You can browse the best part of Sydney in almost the 360 degree view angle. I was totally stunned about this superb scenery and took so many photos. There is no wonder that Sydney absolutely has the best match between ocean and city.

Still on the steep side of the "learning curve" with my Frankenroid camera, the Polaroid OneStep "Rainbow" camera mated to a Polaroid peel-apart film back. I'm using Fuji Fp100c. This is a 25 second exposure through a .6 mm pinhole
( approx, as if I know what a .6 mm hole would look like ! ) behind the beautiful Polaroid OneStep plastic lens. The Apache Motel sign, Main Street, Moab, Utah.
