Polaroid Sonar OneStep, expired 600 film with ND-filter (blur from goo... i think i used aquaphor/eucerin this time)

okay, so yesterday my friend gave me my first polaroid camera. it's a onestep polaroid land camera. i'm unsure what film to buy (if any is still around for this model). i know that polaroid stopped making film for a while, but has stated a third party will continue some. if any of you have suggestions on where i could get film (links are great!) i would be very happy.

it also says to use sx-70 film and a flashbar... is the flashbar necessary?

thanks :)

Not sure about these...

Polaroid type 600 in SX-70 Sonar OneStep.

Shot with my Onestep, barely a month before she passed away. I miss my Buttercup ever so much. Still, I'm happy to have this one, ghosty polaroid of her.

I just wanted to post this as a memorial kinda thing because him + photography are like my favorite things ever. He meant so much to me <3 But his kidneys were failing and had a possible broken hip. It was his time. He'd lived a very long life. He's in a better place and he'll always always be in my heart.

I did a review about the Polaroid Originals OneStep 2. Check out the full camera review here: 🎬 youtu.be/-B-JTcqzQeo

I am suddenly flush with Polaroid film from my great flea market find, so we drove around today and shot a bunch of it.

Kinda failed photo. I tested an Impossible Flash Bar by Mint with Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera Sonar OneStep and PX-70 Impossible Film.

Pack de Polaroid 600 expiré trouvé quelque part.

C'était la dernière photo du pack, et c'est la seule avec une partie où les chimies ont bien fonctionné.

This is one of my favourite cameras. Classy, elegant, and yet at the same time, the sonar focus looks kind of awkward. Soon, I will have my nd filter, and all will be right with the world again. They just don't make polaroids like this anymore.

p.s. - this is also one of my best and luckiest thrift shop finds ever. I snagged this beauty at Goodwill for two dollars on half price day.

We reconverted the guest room into a video studio so Beth Ann can do her ASL interpreting. This includes a repurposed bedsheet hung on old photo backdrop stands. As you can see Beth Ann sprayed it with a wrinkle releaser to help it hang flat.

First few photos failed (although still look cool), After some tweaking the setting (darkwheel), cleaning the camera and refining the light shielding technique they started to get better and better
