Ah, the seventees. Communism was still going strong in my country. Nothing was available to buy. Everything was looking the same. So people used whatever was at hand to build and decorate their homes. The results were often quite wild. Many houses like this one still stand to remind us of those times. And while the houses are often colourful, those times were anything but.
Taken with a Poloroid OneStep with 600 film. Used close-up slider. Adjustments in Photoshop Elements to try and match original. Newly addicted to Polaroid process.

It's the rainbow everyone is after, but in black with a Special Edition Blue Button but it is all the rainbow plastic goodness you remember from the original OneStep.

this batch of film ended up getting really soft and creamy looking around the edges and nasty and splotchy nearing the middle.

I found this point and shoot Polaroid Onestep at a thriftstore for five bucks. And now, all I can think about is how badly I want an sx-70. Oh, Polaroid, you're such a temptress.
Taken with a Poloroid OneStep with 600 film. Stage props stored outdoors belonging to building in Fort Tilden complex - Rockaway Beach, NY. Late fall afternoon light and Polaroid colors.

On the way to a company, I found the old, traditional building standing in a big space. It was the building of University of Sydney. It was very amazing to me because I can't imagine that this kind of traditional building was a university. It was really good to see the different atmosphere and come in touch with foreign university life.

This is my third shot using PX680 Test Film.
Indoor with two lamps, one tungsten and one LED. Temp.: 20 degrees Celsius.
The camera was mounted on a tripod, but it wasn't necessary.
The colors are perfect, I could see orange, yellow and green.

One of my favorite photos from a photowalk with myclockworks
my camera of choice for 'Roid Week has been this Polaroid OneStep that i grew up with. when i was a kid, this camera went with my family on untold camping trips and birthday parties. as i got older and discovered 35mm it fell out of favor and was relegated to a drawer, somewhere in my folks house. and during a spring cleaning a few years back, my mom boxed it up with some other things from my past and deposited it back in to my care. sure it's cheaply made and the optics are crap, but you know, that's just fine with me.
i'd like to thank Cate and Lori for organizing a great 'Roid Week 07! like last years week, this has been so much fun and i'm already looking forward to the next one.
