This is the view from my apartment. My wife and I have been living here for some 6 months, and we're loving it. The place is about 1.5 times as big as our previous apartment, and it has a real bedroom (unlike the studio we used to live in). It is, however, a lot further from school as well as my favorite BN bookstore.
SX-70 Sonar Onestep, Poraloid 600 @ North Head, Sydney, Australia
There is the place called "North Head" after 20 minutes walk from Watsons Bay. This place is absolutely serene and beautiful. From here, you can have the 360 degree scenery of sea. Whenever I come over here, I feel that Australia is such a sea country because for me, this is the first time to live near the sea. It is tremendous experience to me. This time, I asked a friend of mine to sit the edge of a collapsing building on the cliff.

Polaroid OneStep CloseUp
Polaroid 600 Film
Expired 02/02
This whole cassette appears to be beyond use which really sucks cause it wasn't cheap. The first 3 pics were dispensed from the camera and then it wouldn't even spit anything out after that. I'm somewhat new to Polaroids but hopefully this will help some other people understand that expired film doesn't always work!

Polaroid OneStep BC Series // expired 600
No ND filter used. I had been using a OneStep inherited from my uncle as a car show prop, and earlier had purchased a pack of film for Dixie Square that never got shot. So I burned it here.
It all starts here...

I finally uploaded the last piece of these angels...
This angel series is one of my favorites, and I was so happy that I was able to bump into them by accident in the flower festival. Actually, they started dancing when I took poraloids and they took them from me. It was sooooooooo funny that I wanted to show one of photos, but unfortunately, I was absolutely stoked of taking photos of them very closely. However, I heard from my friends that many photographers took photos of me and these angels together. I imagine that that scene was so unreal and interesting. I want to see those photos very objectively !!!
After loosing my great grandfather a couple weeks ago, I decided that I wanted to explore ways to connect with him now that he is gone. I found a Polaroid OneStep 600 instant film camera in his possession and decided to place myself in his shoes by experiencing the ways in which he took photographs back in the day. After taking some time to learn the process of how celluloid film works, I began my journey. I walk by this wall daily and ever since I have noticed it I began intrigued by its existence in the world. I took my film camera down the stairs to the wall. I starred at it for a minute to decide why I was going to take this photograph (especially since the capacity of the camera is limited to seven photographs). The idea was to capture loss from many perspectives including the loss of my grandfather, polaroid film, and phone booths. To incorporate these losses into a single image I began thinking deeply. The phone booth resembles the loss of old forgotten technology were you actually had to use a phone book to look up phone numbers. On the other hand, the loss of instant film is incorporated into the medium itself as I shot the image with a Polaroid camera with instant film that can be noticed in the quality of the image itself. As a bonus, the phone booth kind of looks like an Polaroid because the area where the phone book goes underneath the phone looks like the area on the Polaroid where the instant film comes out of the camera. To take the image a step further, I incorporated the Polaroid camera into the shot as an indexical reflection with the flash emphasized and glaring back into the lens from the image. Finally, I composed the shot at eye level and aligned the shot perfectly. The phone booth appears pushed aside in the tight corner, forgotten and lonely, just as loss can be.
SX70 OneStep with Impossible PX100 Cool film
Well Toby you asked for it. Now you can see why I don't go in for SP's much :) The light was going and I was lacking in inspiration (all day for that matter).
