Trying to get back into uploading photos here, haven't been able to shoot or scan as often now with two kids in the house, but it still is an important outlet for me.

Taken with Polaroid OneStep+ analog camera. Polaroid Originals I-Type instant color film, slightly expired.

Yard sale find. Fifty cents, including the box & with several unused shots in the camera. (Now if only I could find some film that inexpensive!)

I was sure I had enough light, and you can't imagine how hard it was to get him to stay still...which of course he didn't as you can tell by his face. Adventures in polaroid for sure :)

Polaroid 600 Film

Taken with some old film in my Polaroid camera about 6 years ago. I sort of liked the effect, though I wish I had done this same picture digital as it turned out so nicely.

Alongside the folding SX-70 Sonar OneStep, Polaroid introduced the Pronto! Sonar OneStep in 1978 as a cheaper alternative. BC Series indicates this was sold through a Kmart store.

Thrift store find; used a few times over the summer to burn expired 600, then sold to Impossible.

I will die in Paris, on a rainy day,

on some day I can already remember.

- from "Black Stone Lying On A White Stone" by César Vallejo

I can't remember which camera I actually used, to be honest. I just know it was one of those two.

It wasn't Paris, but it was definitely a rainy day.

I won't die in Paris but I like to think I won't die in St. Petersburg, FL either.

And I remember paying the water bill that day because it was across the street from where I was standing.

trying to work on a project where there's a small "easter egg" type of thing that's kind of weird or off, but only slightly and small. this was one of my first attempts. i've gotta try again a and get better with this camera and better compositions and stuff, but i've got the ball rolling

This year I'm using a different film format each month, starting with the smallest and working my way up through the sizes. The format for November is Polaroid SX-70, which has a slightly larger image area than last month's 6x9cm 120 format.

This was taken with a Polaroid 1000 camera (known as Polaroid Onestep in the US), it uses SX-70 film, which is once more available, having been revived by The Impossible Project a few years ago.
