'ROID WEEK - Day 2
197/365 Graffiti
Our neighborhood had some new murals painted alongside the bottom of the Green Lane Bridge, so I thought I'd try to record the newest section this evening on our dog walk. I can't tell if its the heat of my camera that's causing the deep reds but I like it!

They had courage to face the wave in the cold water.
It was still the beginning of spring now, so the water was sort of cold.
I was struggling with the coldness of this water when I was taking photos.
However, I wanted to go that far, but I was wearing normal clothes unfortunately.
Next time, I might bring frogeye !!!

Manufactured in the late 1990s by the Polaroid Corp. of Cambridge, Massachusetts. The camera is still available for purchase in 2006, even though Polaroid is no more… An upgraded version of the longstanding OneStep, the OneStep Closeup had the “normal” focus of 4ft to infinity and a closeup lens that allowed the user to focus between 2ft and 4ft. In closeup mode, a viewfinder framer came into play to correct for parallax. It is has the clamshell flash and used the updated “600” film.

friends from the netherlands sent me this pola 1000 (this is what they do with every old cam they get hold of ; ) some month ago. i learned, it´s the international model of the original onestep. i haven´t run a pack through it yet, but i have no doubt she´s still working. as with most of the plastic bodied onesteps, prontos and prestos of the late seventies, i like the simple and yet somehow smart design. an icon of it´s time i assume.

Print shot with Canon EOS 60D. I seem to get truer results with my digital camera than with my scanner.

These days, I am totally absorbed in her.
She is a black pug, who is the poster girl of a restaurant.
Whenever I passed by it, she was sitting in front of it, so I got in the habit of taking some photos of here. The other day, finally, some of my colleagues and I went to the restaurant to eat lunch, and she got in following us, so I was snuggling her. She was sort of sleeping on my knees snoring ZZZ. After I got out of the restaurant, I found that I used more than 50 photos including this poraloid. It's worth taking. Oops... I forgot changing the setting of ISO when I was using LOMO LC-A because I got too excited about her...
Anyway, I will go back there again soon !!!
p.s.
She was so shy that it was very difficult to capture her front face. Many tries !!!
Last year I bought a Polaroid OneStep+ to complete my instant photography with more manual settings. These are my first, experimental shots with the camera, trying out the multiple exposures.

There is a ferris wheel within 1 minutes walk from my house.
This amusement object is one of my favorites, so I went to the park to take photos of it several times in Japan and Australia. However, now, I got the brand-new ferris wheel near my house. Too close !!! This made me feel taking photos of it is not very special any more. I want to take photos of a ferris wheel on a special occasion !!!
To be honest, this one was not there the other day. Somebody made it for just one day. Is it that portable ???

These days, my partner during lunch break is this; LOMO LUBITEL.
I've never seen people using this camera around me, so it might not be so popular among photographers. However, I feel it so comfortable to use this camera. I feel like I am taking photos in reality !!! I am looking forward to seeing the result of some films that I asked to develop.

Polaroid SX70 OneStep with Impossible PX70 Cool Film. L/D wheel = 1 Dark but probably should have been at least 2. The flowers look pink here but in reality they were purple. Still I quite like the overall feel and colours in this.
