Polaroid SX70 Onestep with PX680 film (Pioneer)

ND filter on pack and L/D wheel = 2 notches dark. Shot indoors using natural light (late afternoon). I moved from the kitchen to the conservatory where the light is much brighter. It had clouded over a bit but the light was still pretty even. The colours are slightly warm but relatively accurate on the boots and the floor. The wall looks lemony here but is in actual fact a warm cream.

A Polaroid of a Polaroid

Camera: Polaroid OneStep

Film: Expired Impossible 600 Instant Film Colour (Silver Frame Edition)

How did I take a Polaroid of my Polaroid? My colleague at work brought a bag of cameras in for me to look at and one was a OneStep so I couldn't resist taking the film cartridge out my camera in total darkness and loading into the other camera to have a turn. Afterwards I found out that the OneStep probably doesn't take 600 film so I'm amazed it came out at all.

Last 366 film pic for a while until I have some more film developed. Back to reliable, yet boring, digital. Zzzz.

Taken with the Pronto!B using Limo Dark window tint over the film pack as a filter. It worked pretty well...aside from the crinkles...kinda like how it looks though

It's the rainbow everyone is after, but in black with a Special Edition Blue Button but it is all the rainbow plastic goodness you remember from the original OneStep.

Took this shot of the cottage with the old Polaroid OneStep Express that I bought at a sale a while back! I am having such fun with it, though the cost of the film makes you think twice or more before taking a shot!

Polaroid OneStep+ | Jan 25 2025

My third and fourth packs of polaroids with the OneStep+ were colored instant films with holiday themed frames. Here are some of the shots I liked the most from the most recent Christmas celebrations.

Starting with these packs, I bought the special lens set for the OneStep+, so I could experiment a bit with playful exposures.

the BART underground walkways are full of interesting characters, this gent being one of my favorites. you may not be able to tell here but he does the best Johnny Cash impersonation that i've ever heard. the other morning, as i made my way up the stairs from the train platform, i heard his booming voice echoing through the station and smiled to myself, remembering that i had slipped the OneStep into my bag before i left the house. as i approached i held up the camera, motioning if it was OK to take a picture. he stopped singing and with a grin said, sure! -- how about like this?!

i almost didn't get the picture as i was laughing so hard, i hadn't expected him to flip me off. but it was all part of his persona.

did you get it?, he then asked in an uncharacteristicly quiet voice, after i had taken his picture. then a little quieter still, could i have it? -- i mean, you can take another if you want.

so i did, and he again struck the same fierce pose.

i so love 'Roid Week

One of the close to modern Polaroid Cameras produced by the original company that has that classic Type-600 Clamshell design! Not to mention modern enough to be still running after a decade or two.
