A close-up on the faded Israel Railways logo and the road number, 70414, in one of the last known pictures of this formerly War Department class 8F steam locomotive. Nr. 70414 was built by Beyer Peacock in 1940 and survived the war to become the hero of a popular Israeli song from the 1950s about the end of steam in Israel. It was sadly retired and scrapped, but another member of this same class - a Turkish locomotive - is on display in Beersheba, with the same famous road number
Despite it being one of the least canonical scenes in the film (after the fall of Angmar, the Witch King would go on to conquer Minas Morghul and kill the last king of Gondor), I loved the Hobbit's depiction of the Nazghul tombs in the High Fells. had to try them for myself.
Didn't have a ringwraith minifig I could use, but Emperor Palpatine needed only minimal adjustment.
I also only wanted to use a single shade of brick. I could've added shading, vegetation, but I wanted this to be a part of the world with all the colour sacked out of it.
One my brother bought and planted in a tub .. no idea what name it has, but I do like it's small flowers and its persistence!
It's coming to the end of 'Poppy Season' so I needed to get my annual image in the bag. This one is shot against a wheat field backdrop and I've applied a texture because I like the mood it projects.

So the big debate i had going on in my head was to keep this in color or make it a black and white image. They both had their moments but ultimately I decided to go with a black and white image because I feel it is easier to get lost in the image when it's in grey scale.
