418 has been a bit of a back-and-forth bus between Carousel and Thames Travel of late, but is now on permanent duties back at Carousel on the 'red' half of route 1 between High Wycombe and Chesham Grammar School.
Unfortunately the branding hasn't been best designed, and the red aspects (including the word 'red' above the o of one and the outlines of the orange circles) can't be seen on the overall red colour of the bus!
Route One has had a new ticket introduced in the last week or so, and is continually proving that partnership between two operators is not only possible but a reality, despite the drawbacks.

Here is one for my mom. Today, I'm departing from my favourites(raptors) to one of my mom's favourites(hummingbirds).
Happy M-day to all of you Moms out there in cyberspace.
Despite - or perhaps because - of operating one of the largest fleets of Scania-MCW Metropolitans in the company, Tyne & Wear PTE didn’t take to its successor the MCW Metrobus. It ordered just five examples for evaluation in 1979 (fleet numbers 415-9) and sold them to London Buses in 1988 (fleet numbers M1481-5). 419 (M1485) was destroyed by fire while working out of Potters Bar garage. The remaining four saw further use as sightseeing buses with various operators (08-Apr-23).

On my way to work, saw some more sticky snow goodness. Had to stop and possibly make it my pic of the day even though it was only 8am. It became the pod.

Theres a couple of old railway tunnels near me but we always avoid this one as we thought it was lit for cyclists. I'm glad I was wrong. There is street lighting at road height, on top of the bridge which casts light at each end of the tunnel and that's probably why we have avoided it-until now.
Shot with the Sony A7ii and 14mm Samyang lens at f8.
Put the camera on the rotation Gimbal and used the new LACE BLS (Back Light Scanner) torch attachment. Just walked from the back of the shot towards the camera, rotated the camera and then repeated the lighting. I have tweaked this in LR (adjustment brush) as I walked to far out into the light and could be seen at the end of the tunnel.

I am getting into the whole 20s to 40s period its was such a nice time for fashion up until the war years of course when things got a little plain. mind you those troubled years then led to the explosion known as the 50s and we all love those styles don't we

A wall full of glass Christmas ornaments--and this is only a portion of the wall!
The quality of this shot isn't the greatest due to low lighting conditions in the store.
Two women. One once was a man.
Both are selling themselves, offering blowjobs for $20 or half and half for $50.
One can’t stop talking, a mania of cocaine and crack.
The other can barely talk, words slurred by injected opiates and a half-frozen face.
“Its Bells-palsy, it will go away soon.”
The other tries whispering, “No, it’s a stroke. Speedballs will do that.”
They hug for warmth.
