Endangered Species. 1,750 in wild.

Photographed in Kaziranga National Park from the back of an Asian Elephant.

Relatively young, the horn has not formally started.

While only 57-stories One Vanderbilt will have a spare that will reach 1,401 feet into the sky. That is expected to make it the fifth tallest building in New York City when it is completed in 2021.

I spotted this eye on the trunk as i explored some woodland.

It was quite high up on the tree so not sure if it was carved by human or natural.

The 1st awakening bloom...highlights an important message for me as it heralds in that Spring has arrived ! the 'One' soon to become many...a time for change...putting winter away, & welcoming the new season's growth & re-newal...!~

"One can be beautiful...One can be enough...One can make a difference...One can become many & the many become...~One~"

a song with a powerful message...some may find it abit brutal, but Truth can often be brutal. I commend Bono for being 'One' of the few Compassionate-Spirited Gifted musicans that chooses to sound the call out for Truth, & the change that is needed towards bringing LOve, Peace & Harmony to 'All' of humanity...to re-new & heal Mother-Earth !~

Another one of the mall's fountains located between JCPenney, Bealls, and Dillard's.

-----

The Port Charlotte Town Center originally opened in August 1989, as the first (and currently only) major enclosed shopping mall in Charlotte County. Built and opened by the DeBartolo Corporation, the mall opened with Sears, JCPenney, and Belk-Lindsey as original anchors, with space available for three more. Maas Brothers was originally planned to open as a fourth anchor in 1990, but these plans later fell through, due to the financial troubles that parent company Federated was going through at the time.

Dillard's and Montgomery Ward were added as fourth and fifth anchors in 1992. Around the same time, Belk-Lindsey closed at the mall and was replaced by Burdines in 1994. A 16-screen Regal Cinemas multiplex was added on to the mall in 1999 as its final newly-built anchor, replacing an older 8-screen cinema at the corner of US-41 and Cochran Boulevard (now occupied by a post office and Edgewater Church). Montgomery Ward closed in 2000-01 with the bankruptcy of the chain, and was replaced by Bealls in 2002. Burdines was renamed to Burdines-Macy’s in 2003, before becoming Macy’s in 2005.

Junior anchors of the mall include Old Navy (opened in 1999) and DSW Shoe Warehouse.

Here's "Cutie-Pie" again, my 6 yr. old Peach Faced Lovebird playing shy. He's sitting in my plum tree in the backyard. I have to say he's one of my best models ! LOL !!

I got tempted by a couple of LBD's in the Very sale, this is the first one, just trying it out finally. I meant to yesterday but wasn't feeling well enough. Feel free to choose your favourite. This was the easiest one to get into and out of.

and there's a heart that still can beat

with every breath that's inside me

and find the spark that's buried deep

and won't go out, so please...

don't let go, don't let go

we can crawl out, out of the shadows

don't let go, don't let go

we can find our way back home

- Matthew Perryman Jones, Don't Let Go

Today was better than yesterday. I've found that I have a remarkable capacity for rebounding. Which, if you follow my stream, you've probably noticed. It seems like lately I go from highs to lows on nearly a daily basis. I guess that's just reflective of the tumultuous times I'm living through right now. And that's ok. I have to give myself days like yesterday where I completely fall to pieces. I have to. If I don't, then I won't have rebound days. I won't be able to pick myself up and force some perspective. Every trouble we face provides us with opportunity for growth. And damnit, I'm doing a hell of a lot of growing right now. The beauty of challenges is that you can always get through them. Always. I mean, we have to, right? Because life isn't going to stop just because I feel like I can't cope with what's going on. Which means I just have to find a way. Keep pushing. Start looking at things in a different way. Try new paths until I find one that leads me out of this darkness and into the place I know I belong.

I have a date with my dad tonight. He's taking me out to dinner and then to see Brigadoon, which surprisingly, I have never seen before. I say surprisingly because I was heavily involved in theater (especially musical theater) for a long time and have seen far more than my fair share of musicals. My dad and I used to go to New York City together every summer to see some Broadway shows and just enjoy the atmosphere of the city. Now we go see shows locally. But not nearly enough. So tonight I'm going to soak up the atmosphere of my own town and enjoy my father's company and lose myself for a while in a dark theater. And that is totally worth missing soccer tonight.

One of the more subdued bars on the Eurodam, the Crow's Nest is a good place to escape for a quiet moment or two during most of the day. While trivia contests and the like sometimes invade, this is usually a place of respite from such activities.

“As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.”

This was taken a couple of years ago. I have seen any wildflowers like this this year nor last year either. Not sure whether it is due to farming practices or weather

One perfect day,

Someplace far away,

I'll meet you in the street,

Or maybe in a bar.

Something in your eyes,

Inviting me to stay ,

No smile will disguise,

Yes the look of love,

That people all dream of.

I won't have a chance,

The sound of your voice,

Your tender, gentle touch,

All clearly too much.

You'll have so much to give-

I won't want to leave.

So I will choose to stay,

On that perfect day.

One of the closest encounters yet.... From last week...

She was a beauty--a gold 45 goddess for sure! A Gold 45 Goddess exalts the archetypal form of Athena--the Greek Goddess of wisdom, warfare, strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. A Gold 45 Goddess guards the beauty of dx4/dt=ic and embodies 45SURF's motto "Virtus, Honoris, et Actio Pro Veritas, Amor, et Bellus, (Strength, Honor, and Action for Truth, Love, and Beauty," and she stands ready to inspire and guide you along your epic, heroic journey into art and mythology. It is Athena who descends to call Telemachus to Adventure in the first book of Homer's Odyssey--to man up, find news of his true father Odysseus, and rid his home of the false suitors, and too, it is Athena who descends in the first book of Homer's Iliad, to calm the Rage of Achilles who is about to draw his sword so as to slay his commander who just seized Achilles' prize, thusly robbing Achilles of his Honor--the higher prize Achilles fought for. And now Athena descends once again, assuming the form of a Gold 45 Goddess, to inspire you along your epic journey of heroic endeavour.

Modeling the new black & gold & "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:

herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!
