PLEASE check this one out in in FULL RESOLUTION. Flickr chopped this one down a lot, too.
A dream realized. The Eliseo R5 match rifle, taken to near-perfection in the Meridian by Sweetwater gunsmiths, has found a new calling- a high-precision sniper.
Built for an individual, the Enforcer is ideal for soft target elimination in urban environments. Features include a shaded SPW Elcan SpecterDR, a spring-loaded bipod, a vented Diamondback-style suppressor, a modular rail system, a mesh-ported handguard, a reinforced magazine with polymer baseplate, and a heavy urban bull barrel. A safe-fire selector has been milled into the receiver. Chambered in 6MMBR. Finished in SPW Bleak Sahara tan.
Credit to Trapezoid for his basic Elcan, Mr Badger for his wood grain, and Miko for the text.

Here's a collage of some of my favorite builds of my first year on Flickr. It's been such a great year! I've gotten to know so many people and I've had a lot of fun.
Some highlights of the past year are:
Attending Brickworld 2016
Participating in The Summer Joust
Participating in ABS ( the finale was especially fun though )
I think I've improved a lot over this past year, and I hope to continue improving.
A big thank you to everyone who comments on my builds and such, it really helps me improve and want to get better. I am also planning on attending Brickworld 2017. Let me know what was your favorite build of mine this year!

Hello! I am just back from a prolific shooting/camping trip across California. While I finish the post production work, here is one from Bristle Cone forest.
For people not familiar with Bristle Cones, they grow in one of the harshest environments. Because of the alkaline nature of the soil, high altitudes (upward of 10K feet), winds and the low temperatures, they grow very little each year and also live really really long. This one right here is about 3500 years. To put that in perspective, this tree is a contemporary of Newton, Nostradamus, Alexander the great... dating all they way to King Solomon of Israel and the Egyptian civilization! This tree saw it all.
I found this loner with majestic sierras in the backdrop with some cool clouds. The really bright star between the limbs of the tree is actually not a star, it is the home of NASA's curiosity ;) I light painted the foreground and the lovely yellow tinge behind the mountains is scaterred light from a nearby city (probably Bakersfield). As always, thanks for looking!

One from Iwona’s archives. I believe she was at The Dead Sea. I am “ under the weather”, so I may be not be posting much over the next few days. ( negative for COVID, though). I didn’t take this pic, but did the editing.
A Dutch F-16 lifts off for its afternoon mission during the 2017 Tigermeet, which was held at Landivisiau in north west France.
It would be easy to assume that J-001 was the first F-16 built for the Dutch, but in fact it was one of the last batch built by Fokker for them in 1990. '001' is merely a contraction of the US assigned serial 88-0001.

C'mon, Baby. Just one try.
People just can't resist these games at carnivals and fairs. Lay your money down and try to win a small prize. Lay some more money down to win another small prize. Trade those in on a slightly larger prize. Repeat until you win the big prize, or run out of money. Whichever comes first.
I admit, I have left a few bucks behind at these things.
