Pictures taken around the terminus at Burg on the Solingen system in Germany in April 2008. Famous for the fact that at this time the vehicles were turned on a turntable. Today they have been extended (on battery power) further into the village to turn there.

I was able to go out and shoot birds for the first time in a long time for a few hours Friday morning. It was my first chance to do so with my new camera. I may have a bit of a learning curve with the 60D, but I'm excited. I hope to leave home by 4 a.m. tomorrow to get a full day of shooting in.
My exhibition finished yesterday. My next show will be at the end of May and run for about two weeks. I'll use some photos from my last two shows, but hope to have many new ones as well. It will be my 3rd large show in 6 months. I visited the gallery for the first time today. It's very beautiful.

Ikarusz busses are no longer on (East) Germanys streets, but in it's country of origin they are still everywhere, even in the rather rare electric version. The producer, once a giant in the bus market, went bankrupt a few years ago.
