I believe this is the Middle Falls at Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills State Park in southern Ohio. I've been working on learning at new top secret processing technique using Photomatix, Adobe Elements, and Lightroom....I think that's it. Hope you enjoy and have a nice weekend. I'm hoping for fog tomorrow morning!

This is a two frame composite with 5 exposures per frame, then stitched together. Talk about over processing. The purist folks would have heart failure with this shot.

A submission to Sliders Sunday, where over-processing is encouraged. Threatening weather over Sydney, seen from the Manly Ferry.

I have been going to Cornwall for the past 8 years, over the past 2 years I have been visiting St Michaels Mount, sadly, there's very few pictures that I have been happy with. This year, I decided a different tactic and decided to shoot for HDR exposure, I am happy to say, that this tactic worked, I don't like HDR that is over processed, but to slightly enhance the shot, especially in bright sunshine, I'm more than happy with this shot now.

Except for re-sizing to 9x12 @300 dpi and updating the color profile to ColorMatch RGB, this is an unedited photograph. WYSIWYG.

I could have done some minor adjustments to the levels and curves along with using Dfine or Color Efex Pro to make the image more dynamic (brightness and contrast) and smoother yet I'm trying to veer away from over-processing my photographs whenever possible. I think my prime EF-50mm lens did an amazing job in creating this portrait shot and nothing I could do in post-processing could realistically add to the beauty of the model or fix some artifact in the background.

A very over Processed shot of some Artwork on Wood Street in Liverpool my daughter Charlotte tells me it looks like Jake the Dog and the Girl from Stranger Things...But ive No Idea...lol (BEST VIEWED LARGE)

BTTL Photowalk Dec'13. More somewhat over processed shots from the edge of the River Severn in the 'shadow' of the original bridge. Before the bridge opened in 1966 a ferry operated in this area, which must have been tricky with the second highest tidal range in the world. Such a grey day...

A cute psychedelic Android. :D

Theme of the week: Sliders Sunday*

*it's about "over-processing" your picture in a way you like and which looks obviously weird compared to the original.

Urbex Benelux -

Urbexing is a photography genre which involves exploring and photographing abandoned buildings and areas. Photos are usually over processed in order to induce mystery, drama and abandonment in the viewer’s mind. This is one of the photography genres that doesn't require tons of gear, well at least not photography gear. All the gear that is usually required is a DSLR with a wide angle lens and a tripod. Other than photography gear you'll need survival gear.

I think I might have over processed this but I like it anyways.

My Buck Fever That Is!

Here I was, like any normal person hiding in the shade of the bushes, talking to the affable chickadees which is what most people do, is it not? And along comes a not so affable but somewhat curious Orange-crowned Warbler sporting his fall colours.

And not at all a convenient visitation since I was on my cell phone with David, who had been querying yours truly about where I had got to and what I was doing. I responded rather tersely..."Dave....Orange-crowned...gotta go!" For I had presently espied the visitor you see above. And boy was he close! And boy did I blow it! I kept my cool and fired off a volley but my light setting was way too high ..

Having confessed that, I had some processing to do to make this presentable. I cloned out a distracting branch, adjusted the light and contrast but stopped short of turning the bird inside out and despeckling its innards. That would be over processing.

Pleased be advised that no pixels were harmed in the processing of this photo.

Woo makes one sexy asian school girl, in spite of the fact that she is neither asian, nor of an age to be in any kind of school which requires uniforms any more. She's a wizard with makeup.

If this looks a little over processed, that's because it was my intent. I wanted to push the colors and highlights to make it just a teeny bit cartoon-like. I did some dodge and burn by hand to make everything pop a bit more. I wanted to avoid the odd, hard-looking effect you get when you 'dragonize' something or overuse highpass filter layers.

Taken to the limit. I probably over-processed this image, but all of the raw data was there and the lens captured all of it. Not like it was made up.

Playing around with the square bokeh shapes and the sharpness. This adapted rangefinder lens accents this subject matter quite well. These dried Echinacea flowers have some of the sharpest and nastiest seed heads. They are no fun to get stuck in your skin.

Yeah, it's a little over processed but I still kinda liked it. I was just playing with some of the "filters" on one of my iPhone apps.

A trip out to The Berry Barn for lunch and then a bit of a walk about - came across this old hay rake. A bit of "processing " and sliding to get to this.

Used Prisma: Transverse Line filter - all in the iPhone. First for a Painterly effect - then used only a bit of a slide for HSS in Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Maybe a little over-processed... but it gives it a sort of ad-like feel. The license plate on the car to the right has been digitally altered.

Just playing in LR with (over) processing ... spent the hole evening with a friend trying to teach her the little i have learned past months in LR... So much fun... Imagine that 7 months ago i did not even know what Lightroom was and now i can´t imagine being without it though i still have so much to learn...lol...

EDIT: I looked at this photo again and decided it looked over processed and bad quality, so I have replaced it with a new version

(still not too sure about it...)

Just a bit over processed. Nice little guy tho.

I didn't have any gradient filters so HDR was my next best option. HDR has gain such a bad reputation due to over processing and cartoon like images however I wanted to show that you can use it tastefully to help prevent blown out skies.

I did a bracketed shot of York Minster last year, and was just going through my pictures.

My friend introduced me to Photomatix and thought I'd have a play.

I'm not a massive HDR fan, especially on the over processed images, however, I think if you just have subtle use of HDR, then it can create great effects without ruining the ambiance of the shot.

This is 3 shots combined.

Back in 2012, I was having a field day with my photography, and also was really into HDR processing......OVER-Processing that is. I decided to put a more modern eye on this shot from my past, and am very pleased with the updated look. These old timers were found in northern Carlisle PA. I'm not sure if they're still around today or not.

Over cooked?, no doubt.

Ridiculously over processed? damn right

You got a problem with that??

This is an over processed long exposure of waves breaking at Witches Point Dunraven. Even though the effects are strange there's something about it I really like.

Interesting creatures. Especially when you over-process the saturation and color - for Sliders Sunday.

Today's Tune: "Who Feels Love - Oasis"

The Overview: Hi everyone , hope you all are doing well. I couldn't upload anything after the Eid because my pc was screwed and my creativity was almost dead :/. I am trying to catch up now though I have projects and assignments in hand but you can say that I am 'almost' back :). I took this shot a few weeks ago, I know some of you might think its over-processed lolzz but sometimes its good to over-process things =D. Have a great day !! See You all on your photostreams.

207 photos ago I sat in this chair, cried and took this picture, signaling the beginning of a new type of journey.

The transformation in me may only be something you can see if you've really known me, but I also believe it shows throughout these photos.

I hate the 365 project, and I love it. It's such a pain and so much fun.

More and more I've become aware of this transformation of attitude and heart and it's something that I'm incredibly thankful for.

This project isn't over, but I thought it appropriate to mark the product of progress by visiting this chair again.

I got fed up with the colors and low lighting and so desaturated the whole thing. Now I feel like it looks much too over processed. ah well.

Psalms 116:6-9

The LORD protects the simplehearted;

when I was in great need, he saved me.

Be at rest once more, O my soul,

for the LORD has been good to you.

For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death,

my eyes from tears,

my feet from stumbling,

that I may walk before the LORD

in the land of the living.

Another look at the magnificent Grand Canyon. Avoided over-processing the sky this time around. :D

Thanks Stammberger13 and all the friends who appreciated the shot and suggested the crop. I have cropped the shot as per your suggestion.

Caboose seen along the Lincoln Highway in Cozad, Nebraska. I didn't get a close up of the marker😢

Note: Some of my Nebraska 2013 photos may have been posted back in 2013 but some may have been deleted by Flickr during some sort of electronic glitch or change over process.

I certainly didn't delete any pictures.

Did a shoot a while back for an indie/rock band called Instead of Sleeping

This will most likely be the cover of their new CD. I'm not a huge fan of it, nor is this really my style (both partly because i think it's over processed) but they needed it took look this way for the cover.

anyway, throw some feedback at me. Any advice/suggestions on changes is GREATLY appreciated!

Deliberately over-processed. I haven't decided how much I like this effect, but it tugs at me.
