The Fibonacci Numbers are closely related to the golden ratio, and thus they also play a prominent role in exalted natural and artistic compositions!

I'm working on a far deeper book titled The Golden Ratio Number for Photographers. :)

The famous mathematician Jacob Bernoulli wrote:

The (golden spiral) may be used as a symbol, either of fortitude and constancy in adversity, or of the human body, which after all its changes, even after death, will be restored to its exact and perfect self.

Engraved upon Jacob’s tombstone is a spiral alongside the words, "Eadem Mutata Resurgo," meaning "Though changed, I shall rise again." And so it is that within the Golden Ratio Principle, the golden harmonies rise yet again.

The golden ratio is oft known as the divine cut, the golden cut, the divine proportion, the golden number, and PHI for the name of the architect of the Parthenon Phidias. It has exalted classical art on down through the millennia and it can exalt your art too!

Ask me anything about the golden ratio! :) I will do my best to answer!!

Bikers at the "Devon Air Ambulance" charity ride out. Teignmouth, Devon,UK.

They came from all walks of life:

Builders, bakers, bank managers.

Farmers, farriers, and "frogmen".

Hairdressers, handy men and "Hell's Angels".

They all gave their time, money and support for a worthy cause.

DAAT is a Devon based charity that aims to relieve sickness and injury in and around the county of Devon, by assisting in the provision of an Air Ambulance service. By getting patients to the care they need in an efficient manner, chances of survival can be greatly improved. This is all achieved independent of government funding, through the fantastic donations of the public in Devon.

PATIENT PROTECTION AND AFFORDABLE CARE ACT: CMS Should Act to Strengthen Enrollment Controls and Manage Fraud Risk

Notes: A single application may represent more than one person, and different people on an application may have different number or types of inconsistencies. Because subsidy information is at the application level, subsidy amounts are not mutually exclusive by category.

a) Other inconsistency types are American Indian status, and presence of qualifying employer-sponsored coverage or other minimum essential coverage.

b) Resolved status indicates inconsistencies resolved by consumer action, such as document submission, or removed due to events such as life change, application deletion, or consumer cancellation.

c) Open status indicates applications with inconsistencies that had no reported resolution as of April 2015. Figures by category of inconsistency do not sum to total because the categories are not mutually exclusive.

d) Terminated/adjusted status indicates the federal Health Insurance Marketplace has terminated policies or adjusted subsidies based on failure to submit documentation to resolve inconsistencies.

Hong Kong Transport - Buses | All types

The Hong Kong Bus Culture

The number of buses registered + licenced in Hong Kong seems to fluctuate between 18,000 - 22,000 vehicles and presumably new buses registered are offset by old buses being retired or sold over the border in China. (Source - The Transport Department, Hong Kong Government)

Bus services in Hong Kong have to be amongst the best of all major cities in the World.

All major Hong Kong Bus Companies invest heavily and are using mainly brand new double decker buses and all of them are testing and introducing single and double decker 100% electric buses and also hydrogen powered buses for future use.

☛Major Franchised Bus Companies in Hong Kong

Citybus | Cityflyer ✚ Kowloon Motor Bus | KMB ✚ Long Win Motor Bus | LWB ✚ New Lantao Bus | NLB ✚ HZMB ✚ Note : New World First Bus | NWFB merged with Citybus in 2022

☛Non - Franchised Public Bus Services using double decker and single decker buses (feeder services)

Mass Transit Railway | MTR ✚ DBTS - Lantau Island ✚ Park Island Transport Co. Ltd.

☛All Major Franchised Public Minibus Services (PLB) seating 16 or 19 people

Franchised and Non Franchised Public Light Bus Red Top ✚ Franchised Public Light Bus Green Top

☛Privately Owned Buses

Toyota seems to be the preferred brand for privately owned small and medium sized buses and are used for the following purposes

Public and Private Rehab Buses ✚ Commercial Building Buses ✚ Resident Services Buses ✚ Travel and Tour Buses ✚ Contract Hire ✚ School Buses ✚ Hotel Buses ✚ Misc. Buses for any type of charter | hire too numerous to mention including cross border buses.

One of the largest privately owned companies is Kwoon Chung Bus Company who also offer Non Franchised and Franchised Bus Services through it‛s subsidiary New Lantao Bus

☛Many Hong Kong Government Departments have a fleet of buses but for some reason also contract hire from Private Bus Companies on an “as needed” basis.

Any Government OWNED and operated vehicle in this section (such as Correctional Services Buses, Police Buses etc ) have a licence plate starting AM and any Chinese Military Vehicle has a licence plate starting ZG and naturally some of these vehicles have personalized licence plates which they buy at Government Auction!

An old door at Essaouira.

In June 2018, my wife & I attended a Family Wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn, 275 Baker Street in Atlanta, Georgia. One end the hallway on the on the 13 Floor (they call it Floor PH) gave me a Great View of the CSX Tracks, while the other end of the hallway gave me a great view of the Skyview Ferris Wheel across the street from Centennial Olympic Park.

I took these three photographs on Marietta Street near the corner of Baker Street near the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. They show several views of Marta City Bus Number 26 making stops along Marietta Street. MARTA stands for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. Marta Bus Number 2528 was manufactured by New Flyer Industries (aka: NFI) in 2009 as Model C40LFR, with a Cummins ISLG Engine and an Allison B400R Transmission.

The original Brake Van 55577 was built at Lancing in 1930. Its carcass was burned out at Stewarts Lane in London, but was acquired so that parts could be used in the restoration of the 1942 brake van which now carries the number

This 25 ton capacity Brake Van was built by the Southern Railway’s Ashford Works in 1942 for the War Department, hence the designated telegraphic code ‘Pillbox’. Its registration number was WD(S) 1021, and first wagon number was WD 11035, later ARMY 49010. Although designed and built by the Southern Railway, 49010 never saw service with the SR or BR. It was based at the Longmoor Military Railway until closure in 1969, when it moved to the Royal Naval Armaments Depot at Bedenham, Gosport

After at the SVR in 1990, arrival a number of parts were replaced including several side and roof planks, one verandah end and the floor. The roof was also recanvassed, and the wagon painted The decision was taken to paint it in Southern Railway colours portraying its parent company origin rather than its military history. The restoration used parts from an original SR brake van numbered 55577, and this number was duly ‘transferred’ to the restored 49010
