The covers of these notebooks are made of pages of an old book review magazine. Cool pics of for example James Bond and Tarzan inspired me a lot and therefore I had to cut the magazine in to pieces right away!
The little ones include yellow paper and the bigger mixed papers. These are ideal for making quick notes cause they are light to carry and use!
Karin sent some goodies for Leroy wrapped in ths brown paper bag which she decorated beautifully with his name. I thought I would put it to use in covering a notebook front, along with the ribbon she used in the holes too. This notebook is what I am now using to write down all those funny things he says! THank you Karin!
I brought supplies for Thanksgiving. My daughter and nieces and I (and occasionally a few nephews) had fun making lots and lots of little notebooks. So much so that my sister and I each bought more binder clips to keep up with the demand. Look at Wildflowergirl's cute Derp and Anglerfish notebooks! I might just have to steal her ideas and decorate a few of my own notebook covers.
Imagine, print, personalize. Give your notebooks that extra special and personal appeal by printing artwork, logos etc. directly on the cover with no worries about the ink.

I wanted a notebook with regular paged plus the columner pages that I use for shop records. I ordered the Ring Ring system off of JoAnns.com. This is my first creation.
Another page from my notebook, with a sketch of an elephant (inspired by a Muji plushie I received as a gift), and my next alien buddy.
Here is the notebook so far, flat on the desk. I will be using the excess cover on the other side to "close" the notebook when I'm done -- for now it's just straight out, as I'm still waiting for the glue to dry. You can see the cheapo glue I used on the desk, plus an old school organization membership card to flatten out folds and spread the glue evenly on the cover. :)
Handmade 4x6 Notebook made from bamboo panels and finished in beeswax and citrus oil. Design is laser-etched on to the cover.
