I am slowly reading the catalog from the Shaker Gift drawing exhibition at The Drawing Center on Wooster St in Manhattan. This sketchbook drawing is inspired by the Shaker Gift Drawings.

first page in the notebook. the pink page came with the book. my first page is a drawing in ink on a vintage journal page. i had the idea of having octopus umbrellas. probably not very practical. :-)
A magnet I designed. It says "I'm a notebook junkie and proud of it..."
Also read my blank book still haunts me.
...this is a picture both of things I really enjoy — reading and writing — but also of my (relative) wealth.
Not one, but two Kindles; not one, but two traveler's notebooks, with relevant accessories; wool carpeting; the camera I used to take the picture; the computer I'm using to write this text, and the free time I have to write it.
I went to Borders (nearly couldn't get to Borders because I had no idea what the building name was!!) and was hoping to get a fabric wrapped notebook from 'paperchase'. The one I have now is used to record scribbles of the amigurumi designs as I crochet.
I couldn't find any of those, so I have to settle with whatever they have in store. Then, I spotted this notebook with the graphic printed eye on the cover, I know immediately this is MY address book.
Will be making the indexes myself, since address book is really scarce now, hence the lack of selection.
