Handmade 4x6 Notebook made from bamboo panels and finished with a water-based stain and then hand-rubbed with beeswax and citrus oil.

This is a preliminary foray into bookmaking, I guess? These are 4-1/4" x 5-3/4", 48 pages, with watercolour paper for covers, intended for embroidering on. I stitched the spines with Aurifil 50wt, so they are Fancy. You can see my eager progress up the trimming-stacks-of-paper learning curve pretty clearly here.

I found this little notebook this morning in a handbag I haven't used for a very long time. It's like a little historical document!

Sweet Ebay find under "office supplies." I picked up this beauty for around $15.00. It's a reusable planner/notebook made of bone. The concept is that you write on it with graphite and then it erases. Most of the ones I found online were between $250- $450; so I think I got a deal. Plus, it's badass! I think it dates from around 1850.

Altered notebook. Materials: Scrapbooking papers, ribbon, ribbons, fabric flower, plastic embelisshment.
everything went wrong with this. It was supposed to just be a regular vhs notebook, but I cut the box too narrow, then I cut the paper too crooked. So it turned into a reporter notebook.
