Today I saw this big plastic bin in my garage and remembered that it used to be my room in like, middle school. When I opened it I found every hanson poster I had on my wall (like over 300) and magazine clip outs of "hot guys" like barry watson and that guy from limp bizkit.
I also found this letter that was much older than everything else!
This is a letter that Elizabeth gave me in elementary school during class. She said I could borrow her Tamagotchi during lunch (they were sold out and I didn't have one yet ) and then said I couldn't and I think I was probably mad at her.
I borrowed this sign, with permission, from a fellow-Flickrite.
Like him, I get pissed-off when I get 200+ views on a picture in a couple of hours, with nary a comment, or someone who faves a string of similar pictures (not flowers or landscapes) without commenting.

Some notes:
Lense: Standard 18-55- kit lense with 13 mm spacer ring. This spacer ring, from a set of three (13, 21,31, chinese product), is active and supports aperture control and autofocus (Amazon, approx. 100 Euro / set). In this application, this is not really necessary, because focussing is done best manually and aperture is fully opened most of the time.
The dew drops come from a small sprayer. :-)

I discovered these mock bank notes in a random shop and loved them. They are quite detailed (with more pictures on the back) and there is one for every Tudor monarch, the six wives and Prince Arthur. I love how they say very blatantly – ‘this note is not legal tender’. As if someone needed to be alerted to that...
The leaf veins have taken on a more stylized look. It was interesting to connect the pathways and fill some negative spaces with snippets of fabric, paper and photos. There is a map effect which I like here but not sure if I will use in my final stitch project. It is not free enough for me.
After graduating I've been number each of my note/sketch books. I'm on the ninth book and because it's my favorite number I made it special.
The Swatch-&-Benz-made Smart cars are popular around Continental Europe, particularly Germany. In addition to awesome fuel economy, they can fit in the tightest parking spaces. On this particular day, parking spaces were in especially short supply as the Turkey national football team were playing a critical World Cup match, and Hamburg's Turkish population were out en masse to celebrate. The poor fellow in the blue shirt on the left was trying to figure how to get his green car out, not having any space in front of his car to maneuver. I hate laughing at other people's misfortune (ok, not really), but I had to have a photo of this.
It is just me, or does this car look like it is sporting a devilish grin?

Note Gottfried holding his sword grip and the shield hanging over the skirt of his surcoat.
Mail isn't depicted in this effigy but his camail and arm defences were surely made of it.
Blank note paper is stored here. I got these blank note papers from Marukai as well. They are much thicker than Filofax paper and are perforated. My sections are soon followed by all my plastic inserts like this zip pouch (Day-Timers because I couldn't stand the one from Filofax with its chunky zip pull). I store color coding dots, and more stickers here, as well as a photo of my son when he was much younger.
Underneath the lions/gryphons
it is said when it rains, the water runs over the arch down under the squatting sculptures & it appears as if they're peeing. And this is on an entrance to a church.
