I paid a visit to Nicholas Everitt park by the Broads recently. There were lots of vistors there including several families. This family particularly caught my eye though.
After the sun went down in London, I kept the camera out.
The National Gallery at Trafalgar Square was looking particularly good lit up at night. It took a few shots to a half decent photo of it, but hopefully it was worth crouching down on a cold evening for 15 minutes or so.
I have got a photo of the Gallery before during the day which can be seen here
Natural pools just beyond the beach area at Walberswick. These areas are havens for birds and other animals.
Of all the dogs who were on the beach, this one had to have been the most lively. He spent all his time running. If he wasn't chasing a squeaky ball he was running about with other dogs or just charging round the beach.
He definitely should have been tired when he got home, but I bet he would have gone straight out again given half a chance.

I went down to Laguna Seca late last month to check out the Speed Ventures track day and Radical Sports car and EXR races. I took a bunch of photos digitally (to be posted shortly), but also brought along a new-to-me old film SLR; a Nikon F-801s. I thought this was supposed to AF with all of my Nikkor lenses, but it wouldn't work for me; so pardon some missed-focus shots; I had to do it manually. If R1 is in the image name, it was taken on Agfa Photo Vista 200; R2 was Ektar 100. Taken with one of the following lenses:
Nikon 24mm f/1.8G
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D
Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II
Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR I
I had been meaning to head over to Horsey beach over the winter period, but the wild weather we during that time put me off.
I finally paid Horsey a visit the other week. The reason I was so keen to go was to see the Seals who settle there over the winter period. I was worried that having left it so long I might have missed them. That definitely wasn't the case though as there were dozens of them relaxing on the beach.
This particular Seal was more lively than most looking very alert & paying close attention to what was going on.
These Gulls were sitting near the Fish Shack. They were keeping a very beady eye on the comings & goings @ the Shack in case it resulted in a feeding opportunity.
I recently paid a visit a nature reserve in Walberswick, a village near me.
I had taken my long lens with me in the hope of capturing some wildlife. That was a task which proved easier said than done. I did stop to get this shot though of a wooden path through a reed bank. The path led to a bird hide. Sadly there weren't many birds about, maybe they heard I was visiting.
Some of the earliest shots I loaded on to Flickr were taken at this nature reserve, they can be seen here:

The long arm of the paw??
This is what happens when you are a bit bored on a rainy afternoon. I found an old fancy dress police hat & took Mac into "The Studio" for a photoshoot. The photo here was my favourite from the shoot.
A striking scene from Dunwich woods. The trees were planted in a straight line making it look like an aisle.
Some very brightly coloured grass growing on the river bank. The soil must be particularly fertile round the river.
Framlingham Castle once had a poorhouse located in it. The poorhouse is the cottage like building in this picture.
I visited the Oasis camel park near Halesworth recently.
As well as playing host to camels the park also has several other animals in it including Goats. These two were supposed to be in the main Goat pen, but they were wandering round the park trying to entice visitors into giving them some food.
...& then three turn up at once. This colourful trio were parked up outside the East Anglia Transport Museum.
The museum was having a special event celebrating the humble bus & buses of all colour & shape had turned up.
This is the second time I have been to the Transport Museum this year. My previous visit can be seen at the below links:

This guy definitely stood out a bit at the station. He was actually German, but he was keen to point out he wasn't dressed as a Nazi - his uniform was that of a German Airman.
Every year, the Norfolk coastal town of Sheringham holds a 1940's weekend.
The weekend is centred round a vintage rail station & attracts people from all over, many of whom dress in 1940's style attire.
I managed to make it over to this years event & had a very enjoyable time. While I was there, I got several photos as well.
I thought I would start things off with this shot. The lady was all dressed up in her 1940's finery & she kindly agreed to pose for me.
