The long arm of the paw??
This is what happens when you are a bit bored on a rainy afternoon. I found an old fancy dress police hat & took Mac into "The Studio" for a photoshoot. The photo here was my favourite from the shoot.
A striking scene from Dunwich woods. The trees were planted in a straight line making it look like an aisle.
I visited the Oasis camel park near Halesworth recently.
As well as playing host to camels the park also has several other animals in it including Goats. These two were supposed to be in the main Goat pen, but they were wandering round the park trying to entice visitors into giving them some food.
...& then three turn up at once. This colourful trio were parked up outside the East Anglia Transport Museum.
The museum was having a special event celebrating the humble bus & buses of all colour & shape had turned up.
This is the second time I have been to the Transport Museum this year. My previous visit can be seen at the below links:

This guy definitely stood out a bit at the station. He was actually German, but he was keen to point out he wasn't dressed as a Nazi - his uniform was that of a German Airman.
Every year, the Norfolk coastal town of Sheringham holds a 1940's weekend.
The weekend is centred round a vintage rail station & attracts people from all over, many of whom dress in 1940's style attire.
I managed to make it over to this years event & had a very enjoyable time. While I was there, I got several photos as well.
I thought I would start things off with this shot. The lady was all dressed up in her 1940's finery & she kindly agreed to pose for me.
I went down to Laguna Seca late last month to check out the Speed Ventures track day and Radical Sports car and EXR races. I took a bunch of photos digitally (to be posted shortly), but also brought along a new-to-me old film SLR; a Nikon F-801s. I thought this was supposed to AF with all of my Nikkor lenses, but it wouldn't work for me; so pardon some missed-focus shots; I had to do it manually. If R1 is in the image name, it was taken on Agfa Photo Vista 200; R2 was Ektar 100. Taken with one of the following lenses:
Nikon 24mm f/1.8G
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D
Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II
Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR I
Trouble in paradise? This police car was parked up at Gretna near the shops. I am not sure what the trouble was, perhaps they had heard I was visiting...
I took a trip to Yarmouth seafront the other evening. There was plenty of colour & light about even on a cold winter night.
This was the entrance to the Wellington Pier. It may look warm, but it was actually freezing when I took this shot.
A certain someone came with me to the common & had a good time exploring. Here Mac is taking a quick break from foraging round the woods to pose for a photo.
A close up of the dramatic sunrise that was taking place on the beach. The dark clouds contrasted well with the colourful sky.
This is the large organ in St Peter Mancroft church which featured a couple of shots ago on my stream.
I did actually get a similar photo of this organ last year. However I decided to put this one on, as I liked the light on it that particular day. The light came from a couple of spotlights near the organ & it produced a striking colour on it.
My effort from last year can be seen here:

Next door to the petrol pumps was another old treat - a red phone box.
I wasn't sure if it was working or not, but I never heard it ringing while I was getting a few photos.
