More of a snarling policeman from the looks of this shot.
It was all good fun though. When I asked if he would mind me getting a photo, he suggested putting on a pose. This was the pose he came up with.
One final shot from the Burlesque extravaganza. This time a chair joins the feathers in the prop department.
I'm a Canon lover but one of my best friends Jim Hicks of "Davis Photography" shoots Nikon and has a fleet of three Nikon D2X camera's and enough Nikon glass to kill someone.... If you want top notch wedding/event photo's his wife and him would be the people to call
I was over hanging out tonight and ended up taking a few photos of one of his rigs, which was sitting right next to the salsa.
Back on the beach and there has been more cliff fall recently. These rocks at the bottom of the photo have only just appeared. A few more rocks nearby almost clonked Mac on the head when they came down the other day.
The sight of lots of sailing rope can mean only one thing - the Maritime Festival at Yarmouth was on.
A close up shot of another tree next door. I did enjoy the range of rich colours on the leaves of this tree, a definite reminder of what season it is.
Mac accompanied me on the visit to Covehithe. He had a very enjoyable time exploring the countryside & the nearby beach.
I realised recently it's been a while since he made an appearence on Flickr, so it's just as well I got this shot of him in Covethithe. He is posing with a farm gate behind him, in this photo, you could think he is actually a working dog. I can't see him going to work on a farm or anywhere else though - he is far to used to the good life of going for walks, playing ball & eating.
This years 1940s weekend was busier than ever. The train station was particularly crowded with lots of people milling about.
I went down to Laguna Seca late last month to check out the Speed Ventures track day and Radical Sports car and EXR races. I took a bunch of photos digitally (to be posted shortly), but also brought along a new-to-me old film SLR; a Nikon F-801s. I thought this was supposed to AF with all of my Nikkor lenses, but it wouldn't work for me; so pardon some missed-focus shots; I had to do it manually. If R1 is in the image name, it was taken on Agfa Photo Vista 200; R2 was Ektar 100. Taken with one of the following lenses:
Nikon 24mm f/1.8G
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D
Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II
Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR I
Most of these could be improved in Lightroom or whatever, and I may do that eventually, but I'm posting these raw scans as-is, because that was the point of shooting the film for me, and I'm spending plenty of time in LR for the digital photos anyway. ^_^
I had a walk through the Castle Mall shopping centre in Norwich to get a bottle of water. Whilst I was in there, I was struck by how much photo potential the Mall had.
This shot was taken from the ground floor looking up at the escalators to the other floors. There were a few more shots I wanted to take, but this was the only one I got round to, it was my favourite view in the mall though.
I must admit the shot was a little rushed though. Via Flickr, I have got the impression that shopping centre staff don't much like having their premises photographed. This one was a bit of a 'click & run', before some overzealous security guard spotted me.
