After the sun had set, I shot this sunflower field in a warm, enjoyable summer night. The two sunflowers in the center of the image were much larger than the others, so I decided to blend them with the vivid sky colors.

Leaving Seattle behind as we ferry to Bainbridge... Black and white seemed appropriate for the gray day...

A foggy morning, not too long ago at Shark Tooth Beach in Davenport, California.

At times we couldn't see our hands in front of our faces, made for interesting photography with parts of the world coming and going from view. Very different from what we were expecting to capture, but incredibly peaceful at the same time.

Flowering Marram Grass (Ammophila arenaria) on the dunes of Calverts Beach, South Arm, Tasmania. A short drive from Hobart Town for some bracing seascapes.
