……An also-ran from yesterday, the Pear blossom has opened and paired with the remnants of the Pink Magnolia I thought it looked quite nice. Enjoying the frequent spells of blue sky also. Still staying securely ‘Locked Down’ AT HOME to stay safe and also to NOT be a vehicle to the virus - Covid-19 does not have legs (or wings) Alan:-)

I was actually drawn to this tree branch by its shape and the delicate plant (some sort of vine or creeper?) encircling it. So I just had to sit there - focus on the interesting bit of the branch and wait for a bird to land on it.
Male Green Honeycreeper.
Taken at the edge of the rain forest, Costa Rica.
Just happened across a series of cascades while up near the Parkway the other day. It was a bit breezy so I required shooting different exposures for the water and different sections of the surrounding forest. This (hopefully) allowed me to blend the most in-focus areas of the photo together along with a longer exposure of the stream and cascade.
Wishing you a good week ahead.
