I'm not to big on making resolutions but had this for an idea. I'll try and keep up with #11.
Easy day today. No work for the second day in a row (I'm off for 5 days)
Sorta bummed out, this was the first New Years my wife and I celebrated without Becca (in Texas with her boyfriend at Lackland Airforce Base)
UGGGH! It ain't easy letting go.
My wife thought a movie would be good to cheer us up. Not!- we saw Marley and Me. And call me a sappy sentimental fool but I cried. I tried playing it cool but Marley reminded me of my first dog Corki... I'll leave it at that. It wasn't a nice site seeing a 42 year old with tears in his eyes (lol)
Nice way to cheer us up huh?
Then we got the phone call....UGGGGH
Something to keep in mind as we're working on those new year, new me inspirations. Breakfast is served.

After a succession of bigger and faster bikes packed with the latest #tech, maybe #2016 is the year to take a step back. Go small and rediscover the joys of a light, nimble #motorcycle and a wide open throttle. #motonewyear #newyearresolution #bikelove #motolife #RoyalEnfield @RoyalEnfield_NA @RoyalEnfield #caferacer #caferacerxxx #caferacersofinstagram @Motorcyclepedia #retro www.instagram.com/johnmichaelflores/

Drink at least 8 ounces of water every single day.
Try to meditate for 15 minutes before you start each day.
Do 30 minutes of cardio each day, whether it’s walking, running, or swimming.
Plan out your meals for the week and eat 5 to 6 small meals a day.
Put your phone away and turn off the TV 30 minutes before going to sleep.
aka My New Year's Resolutions, Obama-style. Be the Change. Yes I can. Well. Maybe not (the last) one.
Worth a try, though.
New Year's Goal: Eat more healthily. That means no more Pringles, Mr. Ugly Pringle Man!

His new year resolution is to be photographed a lot more! Let's hope it happens!
Resolution #8 Move House Within The Next Fifteen Months
I had hoped that we would emigrate to New Zealand this year. However, that is in the hands of my SO as it is he who has the skills they want. If we emigrate it will be by early 2009 at the very latest.
However, if we don't go (which seems more and more likely) then I shall sell my house and buy another closer to my office and with a bigger kitchen and a better layout. The bathroom and bedroom will be on the same floor!
The house in the background is mine. the 'sold' sign is in the garden of the neighbours house. In the five years I've lived here the house has had three or four lots of residents. The latest people to buy it have yet to move in and it doesn't look they will be in any time soon.
For Jan 5, '09's MacroMondays theme: resolutions.
Perhaps a bit cliche with the running shoes, but nonetheless, I do need to start running again.
It seems to be the season of celebration – engagement parties, bridal showers, 14 separate wedding parties, and all the photo shoots that come with these events – and being single can seem like a sad status.
However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. There is so much hidden value that comes with being single which is often overlooked that we should be embracing, celebrating, and appreciating it instead. When you’re not emotionally bound to another person, you have complete freedom to learn, grow, and explore. Free of any guilt associated with taking time for self-care. And when you do meet someone, you know exactly who you are and what you want.
People today are staying single longer than ever before. Even though you may be technically ‘alone’ as a single, you’re far from an anomaly. In this day and age, you are actually the norm. Here are some unexpected benefits of being single that you should be celebrating.
1. Exercise
2. Complete a 365
3. Never overuse a prop.....
Whooops, how are yours going......!?
