You know you want one. You give them a long hard look when you see them on the street. You read the reviews. “But they’re slow!” you say. “They’re impractical!” you say. Who cares. You know that you want to be Steve McQueen. So cheat on your current bike. Have a fling. #caferacer #motorcycle #caferacersofinstagram #Honda #Hondamotorcycles @Honda_powersports_us #CB1100 #motonewyear #newyearresolution #bikelove #motolife www.instagram.com/johnmichaelflores/
If you add me as a contact do so because you are a photographer or a digital artist, anyone who adds me as a contact that has neither of these will be blocked...this means if you don't even have a photostream then why are you on Flickr?
This means if you 'add' me as a contact and don't even have a profile ... I will block you. Flickr is for sharing and having fun and it goes both ways.
If I add you as a contact, that is because I am truly interested in your photostream and not because I am hunting compliments.
Have a great New Years to all my Flickr Contacts, I care about you all!
Thanks for listening to my rant!
I don't do new years resolution, but few years ago I read about choosing a word to guide one through the year and I liked that idea. For the last few months of the 2012 I was attempting to declutter my house and to simplify my life. It is a slow process and I wanted to keep on going with it this year. Therefore my word for 2013 is Simplicity and during my holiday in Cape Town I discovered a perfect quote for it.
From innumerable complexities we must grow to simplicity; we must become simple in our inward life and in our outward needs.

Resolution #5 Lose More Weight
(FGR Red Rule)
I'm getting seriously back into photo-dieting to help with the weightloss. This means I have to photograph everything I eat. It makes me stop and think before putting stuff into my mouth. It also shows me when I've been a pig and put too much on my plate. You can have too much food even when it is healthly food.

You may have spotted that I've jumped from resolution #3 to resolution #5 in my 366of2008 you will find #4 in my 365 set.
The phrase "Where am I and what have you done with my house?" springs to mind.
We never have this much fruit in the house, but with great New Year resolutions (of one of us) come great bowls of fruit.
Here is my second of 'new year resolutions' for Self Portrait Challenge.
P.S. -- I've never so much as touched a tobacco product of any kind.

After a succession of bigger and faster bikes packed with the latest #tech, maybe #2016 is the year to take a step back. Go small and rediscover the joys of a light, nimble #motorcycle and a wide open throttle. #motonewyear #newyearresolution #bikelove #motolife #RoyalEnfield @RoyalEnfield_NA @RoyalEnfield #caferacer #caferacerxxx #caferacersofinstagram @Motorcyclepedia #retro www.instagram.com/johnmichaelflores/
I'm not to big on making resolutions but had this for an idea. I'll try and keep up with #11.
Easy day today. No work for the second day in a row (I'm off for 5 days)
Sorta bummed out, this was the first New Years my wife and I celebrated without Becca (in Texas with her boyfriend at Lackland Airforce Base)
UGGGH! It ain't easy letting go.
My wife thought a movie would be good to cheer us up. Not!- we saw Marley and Me. And call me a sappy sentimental fool but I cried. I tried playing it cool but Marley reminded me of my first dog Corki... I'll leave it at that. It wasn't a nice site seeing a 42 year old with tears in his eyes (lol)
Nice way to cheer us up huh?
Then we got the phone call....UGGGGH

2018 is quickly approaching and a new year can be a great opportunity to adopt new, healthy habits to improve your quality of life. Whether you create a large goal to work towards or pick up some small habits, 2018 can be your best and healthiest year yet! The surgeons at Plastic Surgery Services put together this little list of great habits to pick up in the New Year that will make your year a great one!:
Drink at least 8 ounces of water every single day.
Try to meditate for 15 minutes before you start each day.
Do 30 minutes of cardio each day, whether it’s walking, running, or swimming.
Plan out your meals for the week and eat 5 to 6 small meals a day.
Put your phone away and turn off the TV 30 minutes before going to sleep.
Ok, yes I'm like many others in the new year and want to lose weight and get fit so here is my 1st week of 52 weeks self pictures. Getting ready to walk 2 miles on the treadmill. Yes I made it! I had so much energy when I finshed that I polished my toes and nails. Maybe I'll be "high maintenance" this year too. My primary resolution this year is to "finish things I start". So losing weight is something to finish also!
1. Exercise
2. Complete a 365
3. Never overuse a prop.....
Whooops, how are yours going......!?

For Jan 5, '09's MacroMondays theme: resolutions.
Perhaps a bit cliche with the running shoes, but nonetheless, I do need to start running again.
aka My New Year's Resolutions, Obama-style. Be the Change. Yes I can. Well. Maybe not (the last) one.
Worth a try, though.
As seen on NBC's The Biggest Loser. Calorie and exercise management system. New Year's resolution? Sure, right after I finish this cupcake, I promise.
