Back in 2001, the tendered Burgess Hill town services passed to Compass Bus, having previously been with Brighton & Hove for a few years. Compass introduced a batch of brand new short Dennis Darts with Alexander ALX200 bodies, one of which is seen here, Y253 KNB. Somewhere around 2006, Compass sold the operation to Countryliner. Of course, last October Countryliner went bust and the town services 34 and 35 were picked up on a part-commercial, part-subsidised basis by Heritage Travel (theSussexBus.com) until Metrobus muscled-in and introduced fully commercial services. Heritage ran the services free for a few days before withdrawing:

Next month, it all kicks off again as theSussexBus.com introduces new Burgess Hill town services 134 and 135. It will be interesting to see what happens.....

At each meeting one member delivers a 15-minute presentation to the meeting.
Then, each person speaks for five minutes about their business while sitting at a table of six. Tables are mixed each week, so you get to meet different people. Sorry it has taken so long to post the new map but I have been trying to wait out Amelias arrival to kittyrobotjody and complete that map but I could not wait any longer. I hope that when Amelia arrives at her last stop we can all send comments to kittyrobotjody and show our support to her for her long wait. But here is the new BNN map for this years Traveling Blythes. Please go to the Group and see all the wonderful photos that the First Hosts have put up. Makani has been with Zanalee in New York. Compass has been with luckybells in Ohio. Aurora has been with wheatpennyjenny in Hawaii. My favorite movie of all time. I want to avoid the cliche quotes from these movies. The "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take anymore" speech is great but I think there are better ones. If you've never seen this you really owe it to yourself. Its one of those movies that is timeless.

Childhood Re-imagined. All of my favorite cartoon characters at one place. Nowadays children will never even know that some of these characters even existed. This was the product of Nostalgia and Fanboy-ism.
There's always been a problem in our house where sharing the Internet around it is concerned: the room where most of the network devices (PCs, printer, server, etc.) are located, doesn't have a phone socket for ADSL.
Up until now, we've used a wireless Ethernet bridge to link the "computer room" to the router, but I've never really been happy with that solution as the bridge would sometimes just drop the connection for no apparent reason. HomePlug (sending the network traffic over the power lines in the house) has looked like an interesting alternative for some time, but only recently has it come down enough in price for me to consider it.
I received a pair of HomePlug 85Mbps adapters (Maplin ones) for my birthday recently, and have now installed them - one in the computer room, the other next to the router. They worked perfectly first time once I'd set the network passwords, and now I think we'll only be using the WiFi for the laptop and my Nokia N95!
If you are using network cable for the camera, check the wiring order of the plug at both ends. Can be slightly different.

I have so many connections on LinkedIn it became almost unusable and started becoming a repository of business contacts. This visualization, though mesmerizing to me at first and to others as well, is interesting though the groups are spread around time, location, profession and education.
The top and left is more related to my design expertise, the lower right is more my personal life.
Also the edges are filled with people I barely know. Then again in the center it is often the same.
