...how badly #IlfordDelta3200 that expired over 8 years ago and wasn't refrigerated once would hold up, here's your answer. I had zero expectations, thankfully. This was mostly just for curiosity's sake and to make sure the ol' #Pentax67II was still operating normally.

First frames from the new (to me) Pentax 645II at Haute Hops and Vines Fest (which was an absolute success and a totally great time). Anyone who tells you there isn't much of a difference between 35mm and "baby medium format" is an absolute liar. The negatives are 2.7x larger and have every bit of that MF "pop." I picked up this camera because I want to finally make the move to incorporating film work into my professional workflow, and the ability to have medium format with autofocus and between 33 and 60% more frames per roll is essential for that. I love my 6x6 and 6x7 cameras, but 645 is made for boots-on-the-ground volume shooting where larger negatives are still important. Also, the data imprinting on the border is just *chef's kiss*.
If you read this far, please consider following my film-only Insta (and FB and Twitter) @lookslikefilmbecauseitis where more of my casual day-to-day work will be posted. I've also got a group on here by the same name where anyone can submit their film work.
