Because I'm a masochist, I shot a concert 100% on film. I did it for the same reason people climb Mount Everest — because it's there. I've been good friends with the bassist for Cold many years and she just wanted me to come to the show. There wasn't really any expectations, so I did it as a personal project. Let's be real. I love film, but digital is the greatest thing ever for concert photography. 😂

Late Night Adventures in Film
Tokyo
Japan
2020/02/17~24
A collection of late night adventures, shooting with 35mm film again. It's been many, many years since I last used a film camera and it was very hit and miss process as all the years on digital have really spoiled us. This particular adventure saw me trying out Lomo800's low light capabilities on the colourful backstreets of Ebisu, Meguro and Ogikubo.
Camera: Canon AE-1 Program with 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.8nFD lenses.
Film: Lomography Colour Negative 35mm ISO800.

Located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland. We visited this peninsula on our last full day of driving the ring road around the country.
Taken with a Canon FTb, 24mm f/2.8 , and Kodak Ektar 100. The negative was “scanned” using a Nikon D7000 and edited in Lightroom.
