I'll make another new batch for my fourth trial of this festive treat over the coming weekend. Not too happy with this batch, both the filling & pastry!
Sorry for the lousy shots! I was too busy over the weekend attending driving lessons & preparing for Chinese New Year! Thus, short of photography time!

spring in the danish countryside has meant that a whole new flock of clarity birds has descended upon our little farmhouse in the country. i went out one morning and there they were, nesting happily in the troldehassel (a curly hazel) tree. some of them were dressed in vintage finery and many had sparkling eyes like swarovski crystals. and all of them sang their pretty danish names to me. it seems the entire flock were girls!
they're all ready to fly home to you, a fresh little breath of spring from the troldehassel in the garden in denmark.
The anticipation and joy is always pretty big when I finally get to pick up a new batch of analog photos. Today was one of those days. The pictures were taken over the past year with my Nikon F-301 (huge thanks to my sister for trekking all across Berlin to pick it up for me – a gem I found on the german version of Facebook marketplace), and they were shot in Karlsruhe and around the Black Forest. And yes, no filter in the world can truly replicate that film aesthetic.
There’s always something special about seeing the photos for the first time after weeks or even months. Sometimes I honestly can't remember exactly when they were taken, but there was always something about that moment that made me press the shutter — and that feeling kind of comes back when I look through the pictures again.

We have a bunch that need lighter colour decals due to my painting the feet/bottoms black; we'll screen those decals and use them as quickly as I can turn them over.
A new batch of BBQ sauce for the gifting, featuring Teachers whisky, chillies, garlic, brown sugar and a whole bunch of other stuff.
Teachers Pet was for a gal even more glamorous than Doris Day, Hot For Teachers for a rocker on his 40th.

I spotted a brand new batch of these sets at Toys R Us! So f you wanted to get them, they are out now! I am sure to get one, but I am asking it as a special Christmas present ;)
13/04/10 - Today Apple announced a new batch of Macbook Pros, and despite the fact I can't really afford one, I want the basic 15" spec with hi-res screen.
Could this be the end for my existing 17" model? More importantly, does anyone want to buy it? :)

The aquatic nursery has an outstanding display of everything going on.. it's really a neat facility. Here they are growing plankton and brine shrimp to feed the young fish. The clear one was labeled "bleach" (they were preparing it for a new batch)
the original set...not as sturdy as the new batch. Check out those flimsy little felt legs. Newer piggies are much sturdier.
