The venue closed on July 21 2014 to make way for the Kings Square project, along with the adjacent former Myer building. Hoyts maintain a presence in Fremantle operation the nearby Millennium 4-screen cinema complex a short distance away.
At the time of this photograph the site remains abandoned except for some ground level shops with the winning design for the redevelopment just awarded and developers awaiting commitment from tenants in the redeveloped buildings.

Backlot Cinema, Blackpool - Screen 7. Blackpool has a new town centre, first-run cinema again - the 9 screen Backlot Multiplex which opened in March 2024. The architects for the scheme were Covell Matthews, with interior design by Burrows Little. The largest capacity screen is the 264 seat Imax screen (the screen is 10.85m tall and 19.87m wide), with the smallest coming in at 32 seats, often used for private screenings and meetings. There is a strong community ethos within the cinema, with discounts for local residents, Parent Club, Golden Age screenings, and involvement with Festivals.

Cariopsis madura desconocida. Silvestre y cultivado, campos, montañas, colinas bajas, riberas. SE Asia. En iturraran se ubica en la zona 5.

Leaves 5–26 per ultimate branch; leaf blade abaxially pale glaucous, adaxially bright green, linear, 1.6–16 × 0.3–1.6 cm, abaxially densely pubescent, adaxially glabrous. Pseudospikelets solitary or several clustered at nodes of flowering branches, linear to linear-lanceolate, 3–6 cm; prophylls ca. 3.5 mm, 2-keeled, keels ciliolate; gemmiferous bracts usually 1 or 2, ovate to narrowly ovate, 4–7.5 mm, glabrous, 9–13-veined, apex obtuse or acute; florets (3–)5–13, middle ones fertile; rachilla segments flat, 4–4.5 mm, glabrous. Glumes absent; lemma asymmetrical, oblong-lanceolate, ca. 1.8 cm, glabrous, 19–21-veined, apex acute; palea linear, 1.4–1.6 cm, keels ciliolate, 6-veined between and 4-veined on one side and 3-veined on other side of keels, apex subtruncate, ciliolate, with a fine hairy tip on each side; lodicules 3, anterior 2 subovate, 2.5–3 mm, posterior narrowly lanceolate, 3–5 mm, margins glabrous. Filaments 0.8–1 cm; anthers purple, ca. 6 mm, apex penicillate. Wild and cultivated, fields, mountains, low hills, riversides. SE Asia. In iturraran is located in area 5.

Shwas Homes is all set to deliver its new project Alpine Suite a one of its kind project in Cochin. It's the fourth major project in the aqua city, shwas Homes offers 264 suite rooms along with 81 world class amenities like Boat Club, Shopping Mall, Multiplex Theatre, Food Courts, Multiple Swimming Pools, Multi-Gym, Jogging Track, Indoor Courts, Helipad and more. Primely located between the city and the International Airport Apline Suite will benefit both the tourists and the kochites with its world class features and services.
One of the first closures of a multiplex cinema in the U.K and also one of the only cinemas built with specifications to convert it to a supermarket should it fail!
The multiplex had eight screens and was built for Thorn EMI Screen Entertainment. This would be their only multiplex, opening on 19th December 1986.
MGM Group took over in 1990, and in July 1995 was taken over by Virgin Cinema. UGC took over in October 1999. The multiplex cinema was again taken over, this time, by Cineworld, but they closed it in March 2001.
Today, some ten years later, the multiplex is still boarded up and derelict.

The lovely Multiplex construction site of the new "Westfield" Entertainment, Retail, Leisure and Chav complex due in 2050 or something. To the left of the picture will be a new transport interchange including a refurbished Central Line station, a new West London Line station (Willesden Junction - Clapham Junction line), and maybe even the West London Tram terminal. Over the back will be a new Hammersmith & City Line station near the old Wood Lane Central Line one.
All this is on the site of the former covered arcade to the 1908 Olympic Stadium, the Central Line depot and formerly Wood Farm (and formerly probably a load of trees and scrub).

En esta última provincia esta más extendido, como muestra el ejemplar de la fotografía del norte provincial, en la zona de la "selva" de Montiel, provincia de Entre Ríos, ARGENTINA.

Former Village 10 multiplex building which opened in 1988 as part of an expansion of multiplexes by Village. The cinemas were on the upper level with a food court downstairs which was later near empty.
In 2002 the Knox Ozone development was opened immediately behind with a new Village 15 cinema multiplex. The old food court was converted to JB Hi Fi, Retravision (now Betta Electrical) and Dick Smith Powerhouse (now Cheap as Chips). The former cinemas upstairs have remained empty ever since.
The windows upstairs look into the old booking office and snack bar.

Glumas ausentes; lemma asimétrica, oblonga-lanceolada, ca. 1.8 cm, glabro, 19–21-nervado, ápice agudo; pálea linear, 1.4–1.6 cm, quillas cilioladas, 6-veteadas entre y 4-veteadas en un lado y 3-veteadas en el otro lado de las quillas, ápice subtruncado, ciliolate, con una punta fina y peluda en cada lado; Lodículas 3, anterior 2 subovadas, 2.5–3 mm, posterior estrechamente lanceoladas, 3–5 mm, márgenes glabros. Filamentos de 0.8–1 cm; anteras moradas, ca. 6 mm, penicilato del ápice. Ovario ovoide, ca. 1 mm, base con tallo ca. 1 mm, ápice engrosado e hispiduloso; estigmas 3 o número variable, ca. 5 mm, directamente exsertados desde el ápice del ovario. Cariopsis madura desconocida. Silvestre y cultivado, campos, montañas, colinas bajas, riberas. SE Asia. En iturraran se ubica en la zona 5.
Culms suberect or apically slightly drooping, 1–7 m, (0.3–) 1.5–2.5 cm in diam.; internodes 30–50 cm, thinly white powdery, distally stiffly deciduously brown or dull brown hairy, especially densely so below nodes; wall usually rather thin; nodes slightly prominent, glabrous; branching from 2nd or 3rd node up. Leaves 5–26 per ultimate branch; leaf blade abaxially pale glaucous, adaxially bright green, linear, 1.6–16 × 0.3–1.6 cm, abaxially densely pubescent, adaxially glabrous. Pseudospikelets solitary or several clustered at nodes of flowering branches, linear to linear-lanceolate, 3–6 cm; prophylls ca. 3.5 mm, 2-keeled, keels ciliolate; gemmiferous bracts usually 1 or 2, ovate to narrowly ovate, 4–7.5 mm, glabrous, 9–13-veined, apex obtuse or acute; florets (3–)5–13, middle ones fertile; rachilla segments flat, 4–4.5 mm, glabrous. 'Jump-over' being constructed by L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd. (L&TMRH) at Punjagutta junction late in the night. This stretch is part of Line 1 (Miyapur to L. B. Nagar) in Phase-I of the project. Near the flyover is the station bearing the same name. It is one of the few three-tier stations being constructed and will be directly connected to a mall/multiplex being constructed by L&T as part of transit-oriented development (TOD).
The first such bridge to cross over road flyover was constructed at Malakpet Nalgonda cross roads flyover. And the first rail jump-over railway track is under-construction at Bharat Nagar railway station.

Official sources said a mall, including a multiplex and office space, is being planned on 70,127 square metres land, where government quarters were demolished near Srinagar junction on the arterial Punjagutta-Ameerpet road. The land was handed over to the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) last year.
At Punjagutta, the mall and multiplex would come up in one block, which would have three basements, ground and five upper floors.
L&T plans to build hotels, malls
Eight screens will come up on fourth and fifth floors. An office block is being planned in an area of 5,621 sq metres with three basements, ground and six upper floors.
