The Lakeland Square 10 Cinemas was opened in 1992 by Cobb Theaters and has changed ownership many times since. On Jan 1, 1993 Cobb traded the theater to Kent Theaters for their Branden 8 Cinema. Kent sold the North Lakeland theater to StarNet Theaters in January 1999. StarNet Theaters was bought by Dickinson Theatres on June 10th 2004. Dickinson continued operations until July 29, 2010 when they abruptly closed the theater. Trademark Cinemas announced on the same day that they would take over the theaters lease on September 1st, 2010. Trademark plans to gut the theater and install stadium seating, digital projection and digital sound. The theater is scheduled to re-open by late 2010 or early 2011.

April 2015 view of the former Hoyts 6-screen multiplex in William Street, Fremantle. The venue closed on July 21 2014 to make way for the Kings Square project, along with the adjacent former Myer building. Hoyts maintain a presence in Fremantle operation the nearby Millennium 4-screen cinema complex a short distance away.
At the time of this photograph the site remains abandoned except for some ground level shops with the winning design for the redevelopment just awarded and developers awaiting commitment from tenants in the redeveloped buildings.

We built a giant LED board, about 6.5x6.5 feet, with 900 LEDs using ping-pong balls as diffusers. It can play Conway's Game of Life, Pong, and Sketch mode that allows you to create a starting pattern for Life. We output board state information to a MIDI board that allows us to make music based on what is displayed. This gets interesting with Life, creating minimalist generative music.

Architect Aleksandrs Vanags, who was also the owner of this house, built in 1911. The general view of the building shows some formal elements of neoclassicism which have been combined into the national romanticism style of this house.
Scott Cinemas, Bridgwater. Opened in September 2022, replacing the two screen operation in the rear portion of the former Odeon Cinema. The 7 screen multiplex was designed by Unick Consulting in conjunction with Ferco Seating. The auditoria range in size from the luxury 12 seater VIP screen to the largest screen 3 with dolby sound.

Radhika Movieplex & Mall, a multiplex in A. S. Rao Nagar in Kapra, Hyderabad. The multiplex is Asian Cinemas and was built by demolishing the old single screen Radhika 70 MM theatre.
It is located at Radhika Junction (Radhika X Roads) near ECIL, Sainikpuri, Kushaiguda, Moulali, Housing Board, etc. Although small in size (It has got just 3 screens and less retail space), it is the first multiplex in the eastern part of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy district and the only multiplex in a large radius. It is also one of the few multiplexes in Hyderabad without escalators and public space/galleries.

All the bedrooms and a couple of others rooms are wired with CAT5e. The CAT5e cabling, plus video coax and phone lines are home run into the this wire closet.

• Fotodiox OM-to-4/3 lens adapter.
• OM Zuiko 55mm f1.2 lens (110mm effective).
• Aperture f1.2
• Manual focus.
Workflow
• rawtherapee v2.4 RC2 to "develop" the RAW image. Adjust white balance, and save with an exposure of 0.0ev and +1.0ev to two 16-bit TIFFs, respectively.
• Photoshop CS2 (running through WINE v1.1.23) to change contrast via levels adjustment, fine-tune via shadow/highlight and smart-sharpen in LAB mode's lightness channel.
• exiftool to copy the .ORF EXIF tags back into the final JPEG. And to set the fnumber and focal length, which are unknown to the camera.
• Linux Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope.
• Dell e1405 laptop with the 1.6Ghz Intel CoreDuo and 2.5GB RAM.

Yet another shot of the College Point Multiplex Cinemas. More practice with the zooming on longer exposures. I have seen some people get incredible results doing this sort of thing. Any tips or hints how to improve this technique?
On my two week course on art house management by CICAE, in Venice, Italy, I had the chance to get a tour of this massive multiplex in Padova, Limena of the CineCity chain.
The Multiplex 14 Sale cinema features amazing, modern, playfull interior architecture. You literally feel like a kid in the biggest candy store on the planet. The auditoriums are all top notch, with the biggest sporting a 33m screen (and a watercooled 35mm projector with a 7K Watt lamp as well as a D-Cinema projector), one of the biggest I've ever seen.
It also has many large, luxurious concession stands, two restaurants, a lounge bar, a store and a "Baby Park". A total of 3200 seats, with the largest auditorium having 572 and the smallest 118, and screen sizes between 33,8m and 18,35, the CineCity is much more than your regular cineplex moviefactory.
