All the bedrooms and a couple of others rooms are wired with CAT5e. The CAT5e cabling, plus video coax and phone lines are home run into the this wire closet.

• Fotodiox OM-to-4/3 lens adapter.
• OM Zuiko 55mm f1.2 lens (110mm effective).
• Aperture f1.2
• Manual focus.
Workflow
• rawtherapee v2.4 RC2 to "develop" the RAW image. Adjust white balance, and save with an exposure of 0.0ev and +1.0ev to two 16-bit TIFFs, respectively.
• Photoshop CS2 (running through WINE v1.1.23) to change contrast via levels adjustment, fine-tune via shadow/highlight and smart-sharpen in LAB mode's lightness channel.
• exiftool to copy the .ORF EXIF tags back into the final JPEG. And to set the fnumber and focal length, which are unknown to the camera.
• Linux Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope.
• Dell e1405 laptop with the 1.6Ghz Intel CoreDuo and 2.5GB RAM.

Yet another shot of the College Point Multiplex Cinemas. More practice with the zooming on longer exposures. I have seen some people get incredible results doing this sort of thing. Any tips or hints how to improve this technique?
Forest Cinema, Walthamstow. Opened as the Empire in November 2014, this was the first purpose built complex for the circuit, previous sites having been take-overs. It was designed by Pollard, Thomas, Edwards Architects, who also designed the rest of 'The Scene' building. It has 9 screens, including an Impact Screen, and a large 309 seat auditorium (Screen 9) with a vast curved screen. The Empire circuit went into administration in 2023, and the multiplex was closed and became badly vandalised before a new operator (PD Management Ltd) was found. It reopened as the Forest Cinema in September 2024 and has proved very successful.

On my two week course on art house management by CICAE, in Venice, Italy, I had the chance to get a tour of this massive multiplex in Padova, Limena of the CineCity chain.
The Multiplex 14 Sale cinema features amazing, modern, playfull interior architecture. You literally feel like a kid in the biggest candy store on the planet. The auditoriums are all top notch, with the biggest sporting a 33m screen (and a watercooled 35mm projector with a 7K Watt lamp as well as a D-Cinema projector), one of the biggest I've ever seen.
It also has many large, luxurious concession stands, two restaurants, a lounge bar, a store and a "Baby Park". A total of 3200 seats, with the largest auditorium having 572 and the smallest 118, and screen sizes between 33,8m and 18,35, the CineCity is much more than your regular cineplex moviefactory.

Designer Tom Dixon has opened a multisensory pop-up department store in the Old Selfridges Hotel, breathing new life into the disused space.
Dixon's high-end Multiplex hosts a full range of items from beauty and fashion to technology and furniture, representing dozens of international brands and designers.
An innovative partnership with Selfridges, Tom Dixon's concept was to reinvigorate physical, rather than online, shopping, giving it a subversive spin, saying: "I wanted to see what happens if you take the raw energy that exists in London elsewhere and stick it right bang in the middle of one of the biggest department stores in the world."

Inside the new Hoyts multiplex on a walk around the city to catch up on what's happening while I wait for my car to have its WOF. March 2019 Christchurch New Zealand.
With over 900 cinema seats, seven movie screens and 13 food outlets, central Christchurch's $50 million new Hoyts EntX multiplex.
The three-level complex has been under construction for a year and a half between Colombo, Lichfield and Tuam Sts, opened on September 28, 2019.
EntX will replace the eight-screen Moorhouse Ave facility which cinema chain Hoyts lost in the earthquakes. It will be the company's third multiplex in Christchurch and 11th in New Zealand, and the second in the country with large "xtremescreens", recliner seats and in-cinema dining.

Picturehouse Cinema, Ealing. Occupying approximately the site of the former Walpole Picture Theatre, close to the Filmworks (former Forum Theatre site) is the 8 screen, 1,050 seat Picture House multiplex. It was opened in October 2023, and is the largest in the circuit outside central London. It was designed by Lyons+Sleeman+Hoare Ltd, together with Picturehouse's own team, and features some art deco lights rescued from the former Forum.

Abandoned Showcase Cinemas multiplex, Centerville, Ohio. Looks like a first-generation self-serve ticketing kiosk. I think the last movie I saw here was a "Harry Potter" movie, but I don't recall which one. The experience made me certain that stadium seating is better than the old '80s shoebox theater.
