Blessed was that day of December 2020 when I escaped at the seaside just few hours before a rigid lock-down in the whole Italy. It was clear but with a totally covered sun, absolutelly deserted because that wild holiday resort is not inhabited during the cold season & week-enders refrained to move there as they were all alerted for the soon "captivity" forced by law. No people & the perfect atmospheric & light conditions encouraged me to organize myself right away for a 2 hours shooting in solitaria. This album is a selection of what I saw and wants to show the things in the oniric weird way my eyes & soul saw them.

Pink, plum and green hellebores I have put under a thin slab of ice in our birdbath.

I usually love winter here but this year the continual frosty nights are getting me down. Luckily the hellebores still do well when it is frosty.

This is one of my favourite roses(yes,I have many) which grows in my front garden. It is very disease & aphid resistant, my specimum is at least 20 years old & produces a wonderful display throughout the summer months. I like the subtle blend of colours as every rose is slightly different- definitely recommended.

These are glass beads on a blackboard layed on a table in my conservatory. There's an LED light from the top of the photo with rear-sync flash from the side. The reflections in the beads are the convervatory windows and me.

Camera Rotation Tool on facebook.

Waving LEDs at the camera, and rotating it on the CRT. Jpeg straight out of the camera, no post processing.

I'm fairly chuffed with this one, it generated the real dopamine release thing when I got to the back of the camera to see what was on the screen.

All the more chuffed as it worked first time.

Another image from my visit to the Leeds Dock.

I had intentionally wanted this to be a multicolour shot with plenty of splattered paint but the more i worked on it the more i though it would be better as one uniformed colour. I also didn't intend for it to look like a dress but it turned out to look quite unusual so i kept it that way. Want to try this with real paint as i think it will look ten times better but im glad i took a chance and did it as i certainly learned from this one. Now i really need to think of some shots i can do outdoors... :)

HAPPY ROBOT.

A Slinky is a toy pre-compressed helical spring invented by Richard James.

It can perform a number of tricks, including travelling down a flight of steps end-over-end as it stretches and re-forms itself with the aid of gravity and its own momentum.

I see some other objects in them... LOL

My imagination on the loose again...

More great fun from Studio Indigo.

With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

LOL, I can have so much fun in the studio and always, it starts with one idea (the serious one?), which brings on another and another and before you know it… the hours have flown and I am left satisfied with many new images!

I wish you all a very good day and thanks for all your kind words, time, comments and likes. Very much appreciated.

I love Parrot Tulips, especially the red ones, the colourful frivolous buds can open into a gorgeous voluptuous blooms...

Isn’t there always one with attitude? Or a joker? LOL

Hope this brings a bit of joy again rather than Angst which I see in so many images, have a good day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

The (proper)shoot was over, the people from the casino had been extremely helpful, to make things look really real, they brought out this huge tray of chips.

I'd often seen them in films, NEVER the REAL thing!

Here was a fortune, colourful, different, how could I resist photographing that?

I chose to use very little depth of field.

I love the beautiful tools that are our hands..

I'm not sure if this image is a bit too ordinary. An open door and some snazzy lights prompted the picture. It's the entrance to a new nightclub being fitted out in Nottingham. There's been numerous clubs on this site, on St. James Street, over the decades.

Perfect harmony and light.

Dianthus barbatus (Sweet William) is a species of Dianthus, small Carnation, native to the mountains of southern Europe from the Pyrenees east to the Carpathians and the Balkans, with a variety in northeastern China, Korea, and south easternmost Russia.

The flowers are produced in a dense cluster of up to 30 at the top of the stems and have a spicy, clove like scent; each flower is 2–3 cm diameter with five petals with serrated edges; in wild plants the petals are red with a white base.

In the Victorian language of flowers, Sweet William symbolises gallantry.

Sweet William is a good candidate for a naturalistic garden because its nectar attracts birds, bees and butterflies.

Its flowers are considered edible...

I love them because of their unbelievable 'variety', both in colours and variegations!

They last a long time in a vase, real beauties.

All the best and thank you, M, (*_*)
